I remember seeing his name on cricinfo for a ranji match in early november. But I feel he still has a lot to offer to cricket.

Haha, good one :) It certainly is much better than struggling for 5 days and end up on the losing side.
In my opinion,Amarnath should not have come out in the open and said that selection committee wanted to remove Dhoni and make Sehwag the captain but some external force prevented this.This comes at a wrong time when there's enough ego clash in team India.This could affect performance in Nagpur.

you may be right, and there's dhoni-sehwag rift in there for a long time now. ..but dhoni needs to go, he has no test captaincy skills. i'm a dhoni fan as i'm of other cricketers too but believe me dhoni is #1 culprit of this fiasco. for many many many reasons. i dont have energy to list them all out, at least right now. but he's done serious harm to our team.

yes you're right. that's the thing. also about srt, well he's pretty poor too and needs to be shown the door but noone has the guts to drop him. yuvi sacking was very much easier
