Sadly, most of the present test players in indian team are ODI/t20 players. Dravid questioned their skills yesterday. Sehwag agreed about the lack of patience of indian batsmen

Poor physic of India cricketers
by pradeep agarwal on Dec 11, 2012 04:31 PM

The physical fitness of Indian cricketers is a matter of great concern. The entire bowling line up including Yadav,Nehra,Balaji & Zaheer are suffering from injuries.Ashwin looks anything but a sports person with bulging fat all over his body & now Tiwary who has beel cooling his heels for over two years has gone as soon as his name appeared in final eleven. What is the point for having so many support staff around the team if they can't keep a bench of 6 players fit to play at short notice?

He did well in recent Newzeland-A tour. There he won/saved few matches. And he is doing well as Baroda's captain. If he is not from AP where Yadav &co spoiled his future,he would have been in indian11 few years back. If he controls his anger, he would be a player for the future.Note: He won many matches for mumbai indians in all IPLs (1-4)

Jeffery Almeida should have got a chance
by Adi Mehta on Dec 11, 2012 03:25 PM  | Hide replies

Goa Ranji skipper Jeffery Almeida should have come in place of Tiwary. Almeida is a great leader, bowls both offspin and legspin without changing his action and always takes one-handed half chances as catches.

No, he is an original Goan boy, son of the soil so to speak. Does not waste his time coming in ads. Just spends the whole day on the cricket field. He is thirsty for success. Once he is in the team, results will just flow in a positive direction.

An unknown player can't get offers to act in advertisements. Is he successful in IPL? Is he got picked for india-A first? To my knowledge, rayudu did well in recent newzeland-A tour in seam friendly conditions. And he is doing well as baroda captain. under his captaincy, players like raina,utappa.. started their careers. It has already been late for rayudu.
