There is absoutely no problem with the team . This is the best among current available players . Its not that some great players are sitting outside . Any attempt to make drastic changes in the team will result in even bigger lossess .

India has lost series after series with whitewash and you say there is no problem with the team and no change needed. What were you smoking before making such ridiculous statement?

Unfortunately in Cricket does not have non-playing captain -other wise you richly deserve .
I do believe in this Indian team and they can be unbeatable on Indian Soil. For that, first the captain should be changed. Make Gambhir as the captain. Then the entire teams attitude will change. Make Saurav Dada as the coach. The wicket keeper should be Parthiv Patel. The main problem of Dhoni is the lack of planning and new new ideas. When the English wickets are not falling, he could have made an experiment with Sachin/Sehwag/Yuvi or even Virat Kohli. Instead, he was seemed to be comfortable with the 4 useless mainstream bowlers. More over, his appearance shown he was waiting for the English batsmen to make mistakes and get out.

We had a manager - who was cool all the time ,you insult him he will not bother ,abuse him he will not bother .The reason was he was dependent on others to do the job . Normally drifters are very cool .They do not make things happen - they will allow things to happen.
Kudos to Eng. team for their win. That does not mean they have shown extra ordinary performance in ousting Indians. Its our peoples faults that led to Eng.'s victoty.
Yes they can as their coach is Andy Flower the only zimbabawean who is to stand tall for their team in almost all mathces he has played against all the Test teams cheers
The English have been studying this team carefully.
They saw that the Indian captain is a self-absorbed tribal tool who is basking in the glory of his position in the team.
They also saw that each Indian player is playing for personal fortune and glory. Nobody really cares about test matches as they don't affect their IPL standings.
The English took full advantage of the situation like any visiting team would!
Was the best coach that we had...with due respect to dada and his supporters...he was point blank and brought the aggression with him which the seniors found too tough to handle...they dont like them questioned and started revolting...if we have given an extended run and had the board supported Chappel, we would have had the best team and would have become world beaters..we had world record of consecutive wins while chasing, series wins in Eng,WI and our first Test victory in SA..he was too aggressive in getting the team prepared for the WC which the seniors simply failed to understand..they put themselves before the country and not the other way around...and Dravid was deemed a puppet..actually he was one of a great thinking captain we had...Greg's motto was simple, keep fit, perform or perish..do not stay in team on past histories or charisma..Kirsten never intervened with the board and let the board run the team...fletcher is in two minds whether to dictacte or dance to the captain's tunes..so bring back Greg...crack a whip to the board and non performing players..save indian cricket
Every Team has to adapt to the local conditions of the visiting country --- So, England has done exeptionally well. We do not have the killer-instinct, perhaps in every competition. We become complacent after one or two good results. We need to develop consistancy by any means. We must be harsh in decisions --- that exit the old horses, bring in new youngstars periodically to strenghten the bench-strength.
is the first step 1. Sehwag-we are accepting him for what he is but shouldn't we trying a more patient opener? 2. Gambhir- is he deliberately playing below par? 3. Tendulkar- on the decline, shouldn't we be looking at the future? 4. Kohli - too early vice captain? 5. Pujara- let him be more consistent on our soil and show results outside before saying great things about him 6. Yuvraj- no good for tests 7. Dhoni- time to be replaced as Test captain 8. Bhajji- should not have been selected in the first place 9. Yadav- plays one test and out for 3 months. What is the use? 10. Zaheer- old horse
This is what I have been writing to England team in these discussions board .This is not 20-20 IPL dud game.if you show patience invariably spinners will err in line more so leg spinners - when a bad ball comes feast .Our crikceters are at best used to playing 20 overs max and bowlers 4 overs and fielders 20 overs this is BCCI -IPL team .England hammer the guys in Nagpur so every one will come to sense and will develop skills and in the nect few years .
