its all about IPL. Now after this series, the owners will have confidence to bid for pakistan players in IPL auction. its nothing to do with politics, cricket relations etc. its for IPL,IPL,IPL.

Pakistan

Playing Pakistan itself is a big favor by BCCI because it rejuvenates interest in cricket in Pakistan because only India vs Pakistan encounters gets people watching cricket in Pak.
So this man and other people in Pakistan should be thankful but as usual, these people are ungrateful and hateful individuals.
In any case, why should India play Pakistan despite Pakistan continuing to spread terror in India and other countries ? They are not learning from their wrong policies.

MIXING SPORTS WITH POLITICS- tell me one good example?
by Kabeer on Dec 10, 2012 01:51 PM  | Hide replies

1. During apartheid regime in South Africa, no country has gone there to play any sport.

2. Moscow olympics were boycotted by Western Europe and its cronies including Pakistan as a protest against USSR's invasion of Afghanistan.

3. Warsaw Bloc reciprocated by boycotting the next olympics in the US but India participated.

If the aforestated three large global sporting incidents are not mixing politics with sports, I wonder what they are?

Why is India always the frontrunner to lift the Govardhan mountain called mixing politics with sports?

a valid point

Ehsan Mani certainly has a valid point. True that India cannot visit Paksitan because of safety issues...But we can certainly play with them in neutral venues... like other countries have played against them at neutral venues...

His point is not valid at all. After the mahem Kasab created in Mumbia, how can we as Indians forgive them. Secondly look at the crores we have spent on Kasab. The earnings of BCCI are peanuts in front of the amount spent on kasab.

Pak cricket is a BEGGAR!
by Harit Shah on Dec 10, 2012 12:55 PM  | Hide replies

Mr Mani, why are you singling out India alone?!? NO COUNTRY has toured your failed state of a nation since the attack on Sri Lankan cricketers in 2009!! Yet Pak has played other countries too! So why not mention them as well, as they have also not come to Pakistan either! Maybe you believe they are fools for not touring your pathetic nation for fear of their lives! Anyways, bottomline - beggars have no choice! Enough said!

Very True.. It will never benifit Pakistan as the umpires will be 100% biased.... And whoever is saying that Pakistan will take money and loose.. must remember one thing.... You cannot clap with one hand.. you need two hands to clap.. exactly the same way.. to fix the matches both teams must be bribed.. otherwise match fixing cannot happen...

Winning or loosing is irrelavant

No matter who wins the series, the BCCI will be the real winner once the series completes.
