Dear Prabirda I salute you for your courageous stand and open defiance to BCCI Boss. But here I must add that home pitch should be prepared to help the home team. Everywhere else this is the norm. When everyone is street smart then it is a folly for us to be stickler to principles.

There is nothing to salute about it. Check who gave him money to prepare a wicket on which India would lose the match.

What is wrong with the Eden pitch? It is very good batting strip. Board should enquire why our batsmen cannot score runs on such a flat pitch, instead of finding fault with the seasoned curator.

WE ARE ALL CONFUSED - ARE WE GOOD IN BATTING AGAINST SPIN ,FAST ,SWING ? BOWLING CAN WE BOWL SPIN OR SWING OR FAST IN ALL CONDITIONS . IS THERE N LATERNATTE LIKE WE CHANGE THE PTICH WHEN OPPONENTS ARE BATTING AND WHEN WE ARE BATTING .IT IS ALL CONFUSING LET NOT PLAY INTERNATIONAL CRICKET AND CONCENTRATE IPL WHICH NEEDS NO SKILL AND WILL DECIDE ON LUCK OR INFUTRE ON TOSS.
BCCI seems to be totally directionless with this new body looking after its affairs.
Instead of degrading a celebrated curator like Shri. Mukherjee for the Pitch for the 3rd test .... the board must introspect what is wrong with the Indian playing 11 .......... When the English team can play the Spin bowling of Indians ...... Then what is wrong with the Indian Batsmen ........... The Pitch is same for both the Teams ............ So BCCI think in the right direction ........... Think about Dhoni's behavior, Sachin & Virats batting ability, Ashiwins bowling problems etc etc etc .... Just do not be after a 82 Year Man who has giving his life & time to Cricket ....... Wake up up sleeping bosses of BCCI ...........????????????
These BCCI suckers should look into their own functioning and the team for the poor show and not blame the pitch or the curator for the pathetic performance of the Indian team.

The curator has given a strange pitch which favors bowlers at the time of India's batting and seems like an excellent bating pitch when England bats :). Players like Dhoni and his godfather Srinivasan are destroying Indian cricket. They will not bother about this defeat as the next session of IPL is coming
Dear Prabir da, Keep it up! You have the courage of your convictions -a quality very rare in India today. Anybody with some money today chooses to bully and threaten...even though their knowledge on a subject may be ZERO!!!Instead of threatening you, Srinivasan should be threatening the team and its non performing captain for the horrendous results over the last 18 months. It is horrifying to see bogus MPs who have never touched a bat in their lives waxing eloquently on a game they know nothing about. The BCCI is being destroyed from within by a powerful coterie.It is high time to remove these money bags,people with vested interests and their chamchas for the genuine good of Indian cricket. Well done, Prabirda for your principled stand.

Even while playing gulli cricket, we used to shoo people out if they complained of a fast ball :)
