loitering? If scoring 70 odd runs seems loitering to you, then you ought to give up commenting on cricket. Thats the issue with democracy any as hole can open his mouth and talk nonsense without the fear of repurcussions.

not that england r playing
by Kalpak chandra on Dec 07, 2012 01:14 PM

extraordinary cricket but indians have forgot their basics. Sehhwag ,gambhi have to build partnerships not just come and hit the ball here and ther .pujara and kohli must keep patience. Sachin must retire and coach these guys. Dhoni must stop gettting into the pitch he must practice well to play on all pitches. The bowlers should experience new things .

side effect of IPL
by nagaraj naik on Dec 07, 2012 01:11 PM

Reason for indian team performance in test is IPL,
Indian players are only fit for T20 & ODI,
Indian doesn't have quality spinner

BCCI should concentrate on building long term quality bowler, be it spinner or fast bowler.

india with more than a billion people who have no other sports to play and come back chickens in olympics, do not have a single good bowler??
pace bowling is lost cause. Is Bcci doing its job scouting for talent or too busy organising the next ipl

Dhoni has prepared his speech for the match closing ceremony
by cc man on Dec 07, 2012 12:53 PM

Ravi Shastri: What happened?
Dhoni: Well five things occurred in the pitch that caused the debacle.
1.Day 1: Nothing in pitch for the indian batsmen
2.Day 2: Nothing in pitch for the indian bowlers
3.Day 3: Nothing in pitch for the indian bowlers
4.Day 4: Nothing in pitch for the indian batsmen
5.Day 5: Nothing in pitch for the indian bowlers

Ravi Shashti: Yes. We all are hearing your great analysis. Any message you want to give?
Dhoni: If pitch curator does not listen to me, this is what happens. So, i request all to listen to my words and prepare pitch as per my demands.

Ravi Shastri: Which bowler you think you will always retain as long as ur captain?
Dhoni: Zaheer the best pace bowler I have ever seen. He is our bowling coach

Ravi : What about 0-8 debacle in Australia and England?
Dhoni : Well, its the same story there as follows
1.Day 1: Nothing in pitch for the indian batsmen
2.Day 2: Nothing in pitch for the indian bowlers
3.Day 3: Nothing in pitch for the indian bowlers
4.Day 4: Nothing in pitch for the indian batsmen
5.Day 5: Nothing in pitch for the indian bowlers

Ind won a few matches outside subcontinent against AUS,SA,ENG etc when those teams were undergoing rebuilding process after retirment of greats like donald, waugh bros, etc. But now, Its payback time for india ! Not just that, ind forgot to fill places which were emptied after dravid, laxman retired and now tendya ! I wish team indias players arrogance is crushed time nd again!

Ploy to keep Harbhajan Singh out of the team
by ModeratorsDAD on Dec 07, 2012 12:13 PM  | Hide replies

Good observation... For Shastri, Manjeraker and Dravid... Assswin is bowling a very good line and length... its just that th PITCH IS NOT RESPONDING!!!

Had it been Harbhajan Singh bowling without a wicket for >40 overs.... they would have taken him for a ride...

Its a ploy to keep Hrbhajan Singh out of the team... just because no one in BCCI wants Bhajji to brk Kumble's record...

India dsrve to loose evry match....

The Mystery Ball
by Arv Singh on Dec 07, 2012 11:42 AM  | Hide replies

Indian bowling has been top notch. The Indian commentators keep louding Ashwin's bowling and Dhoni keeps yelling, "Bowling ... Ashwin."

BCCI officials are congratulating each other on fine bowling spell by Ashwin. Rahul Dravid is trying to explain Ashwin's mystery ball.

But wait ... its all dream. Ashwin hasn't taken a wicket and Cook is about to score a double century.
