Hussey has 5000 odd runs from 160 odd matches and Tendulkar has 18000 odd runs from 460 matches...so who scored more runs per match? Hussey has more notouts which makes his average high.

Hey buddy, Tendulkar wasnt born in australia or England! Why dont you take Ponting/hussey/Kallis or anhone's record in the subcontinent and compare as well. As much as we r fond of ppl playin great on the fast pitches, so should be we see ppl who r great on turners too. If u find some good on bouncy ones, check if they stand good to Tendulkar's stats on turners? So wont it be great if we keep counting the average of both bouncy wickets and turners together and compare the greats!

Badrinath is close to 34 yrs. His career is almost over. Not worthy of any consideration.
This is not the right time to judge the replacement as the standard set by the GREAT RICKY is easily ir - replaceable. So just wait and watch the next 2-3 contender's PERFORMANCE at the "HOT SEAT" then find a better one than them.

Sorry Bond that is not Aussie style. You are picked on merit not on the basis of your creed. Usman is just not upto the mark despite being given ample opportunities. Phil Hughes is scoring runs by the buckets & Doolan is also well poised to enter the Test arena on the weight of his performances. Ponting was too great a player to easily fill & it will take a while before a worthy replacement is found. Maybe Clarke should move up the order & the contenders should take his place.
