If anybody has to be sacked it is only Dhoni & his buddies Raina,Jadeja,Yusuf in one day & Yuvi,Kohli & Ghambhir from tests.
Those who are scoring in Sub continent pitches doesn't count but who scores in Abroad bouncy pitches allone can be counted as batsmen.

Sachin's show in the 3rd test agaist England.
by Venugopal GV on Dec 05, 2012 06:55 PM  | Hide replies

Sachin is the saviour today. The display (no pun intended) by others on show indicates that Sachin will be needed till we find suitable replacements for Laxman, Dravid & Sachin himself. There was no extraodinary bowling. We believe in equality. spin and pace are same for us.-venugopal.gv

Agree but it was not the type that one expects from master.he left after getting in & deserted ship to sink when his presence was needed most.No one questions his ability to score which he did in England but failed to win matches. He can continue so long as he wish to but can no longer win the matches for us as it appears now.

problem with and in india
by veerapuram dharan on Dec 05, 2012 06:41 PM

in indian politics, everyone, especially the politicians think they are above law..in indian sports, the sports persons think they are above the team..in this specific blog, i think its not sachin but dhoni who should be questioned first, for hes getting away without any accountability..when he first captained in tests, he had an all win record for the first few matches..every one including the media thought hes gonna be the best captain ever for india...if he could take credit for those wins, he should now take accountability for these heavy losses since the english whitewashes..once he assumes responsibilities for defeats, then one by one can be targeted..

Virat should be rested being out of form
by anurag maheshwari on Dec 05, 2012 06:21 PM  | Hide replies

Now all asking for Sachin's sacking should ask for Virat's sacking as he has been a flop in this series.

Yes,this is correct, Virat should be dropped s he has flopped only in about 4 innings and not for nearly 3 years!!!!
See Dravid though was the highest rungetter inn 2011, was made to retire for flopping for about in 5 innongs and not for nearly 28 innings.

Yes, Sir, you are correct Virat should be dropped and he is young and not flopped for 28 innings!!!

If you compare Sachin's performance in his last 15 Tests (his worst, starting with India's loss vs Eng in Eng) and with that of Virat, you can see that Virat has only scored marginally better (at 36.5 ave v 33.8) ! And Yuvrajs and Rainas have played worse during this time.

after failure in last 28 innnings the greatest ballon score scratchy 76. Now will continue for another 76 innings. people are talking about chucking out a youngster who has failed in last 5 innings. he is only 23 yeras. a cricketer who has played for 23 years can consecutively fail in 28 innings yet he is needed. balle balle.

Yes, this is the greatest achievement unparalleled for a man who is inching to 200 tests as he has done which no one has ever done like Dravid or VVS who scored some irrelevant runs on this very ground for an indian win!!!

This is why Sachin is indispensable for our team.We need him at lesst for another 300 tests!!Let India celebrate.

If your place is secured even a Galli cricketer can make 76 run after 10-15 flop innings and it's perfect bating pitch on which tingu always tries to encash.

Yuvraj, Kohli, Raina, Dhoni are ODI players. So, there should be seperate ODI and Test teams.
Do selectors have courage to do so.....

Sachin fans should allow the critics to bark as one cn see from the past history that more his critics bark sachin returns with his willow answering them with vengeance. Barking dogs dont bite that sachin knows.

i am not a Sachin basher if that is what is called .Just becuase he scored decently does not change the situation. The way the wicket played there should have been many more runs and less wickets . What people like me say is Sachin does not meet the high standards expected of him consistently . Period any one saying he should retire does it have any influence on it .
