Let him cross 15, before we can think of a century. When you are almost 40, the eyesight and refleses are not the same, that you used to have. All you need is nano second delay and you are walking back to the pavilion. As Clint would say, " a man has got to know his limitation".

Is 37 and 38 is not almost 40? or Just 39? At his 37 and 38 (01 Jan 2010 to 31st Dec 2011), He scored 2318 from 23 Tests with the Avg of 64.38 and 8 Centuries including 2 Double Hundreds. within Just 1 year and 5 or 6 Tests, he became old and cant score even 50 runs according to you people.
If you have doubt regarding the stat, check with Cricinfo
He has created divides within team , never respected the talent or experience of his players(laxman, sewag, etc etc), pitch curators or any one for that matter. He will never earn team respect or get the best of his team. In short he is no "captain cool".
he is a disaster for indian cricket hope he is forced to quit soon
Fire Dhooni ... he is an insult to game of cricket.

Where were you when he was single handedly winning/saving matches from near improbable positions..he has done a lot for indian cricket..he is a better judge..he knows when he should walk into Horizon..even if it means costing us a few matches...We had Kapil in team during his last few years just to beat Hadlee's record..this is not a disgrace to kapil...its out of the respect that we had for the legendary bowler..Sachin is an all time great..no body can even near what he has achieved save beating them...Sachin doesnt need money, he has millions...hes playing for the passion of cricket and i think he is waiting for one high moment in his twilight to go out on a high..so allow him to decide..and please keep your thoughts to yourselves...and enjoy while the master is weaving the magic...

We worship individuals rather than nation ,that is why we want to be ruled by our leaders, there sons or daughters then there grandsons/daughters etc. The whole nation respects sachin for his personel glories and he has done so much to indian cricket but he can not continue till he is 50 without performing. Please remember 4 4 matches in england and australia and he is strugling in indian pitches also. He has failed to take a decission on his own thats why whole nation is shouting for his retirement. This is with due respect to SRT

you are right. If he has the passion , let him play club cricket in shivaji park / ranji. why he is blocking a youngster. himself has played for 23 years & now frustrating 23 year olds.

Liquid Lion: All Indian Eleven should immediately quit. You are right. Many 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22 and 23 year olds being frustrated by Sehwag, Sachin, Gambhir, Dhoni, Pujara, Ojha etc.
too much pressure on this guy. lets forget for a while 100th century and see last 20 innings/30/innings status...will this privilege to be given any other player in world

he was the one who played politics in the team lot of blame on G chappell but it was Saurav shastri and sunny who brought Greg. Greg said things bluntly which Saurav did not like and started playing politics.

It is only who is an idiot not DADA who transformed Indian cricket & nurtured many talented players & he made one big mistake of Continuing Dhoni.
