it is surprising that everybody is congratulating our youngsters...the mood must be different...if posters here were in their normal mood they would have congratulated the bcci for one more fixed wc...
Nowadays younger generation in Aus, NZ, SA, ENG etc., are not giving importance to the laziest and junk game cricket. Only 4 asian countries are playing cricket craziest way. Due to this India could win the world cup U-19 regularly. Now our cricketers are giving more importance to IPL rather than playing for India. They play IPL with all sorts of injury. But they skip matches for India. Hence, only our people have to forget the laziest cricket which kills our development in each and every other games. Let us rise our voice continuously against junk and laziest cricket.

Young generation of all countries are focusing on fast ,less time consuming and olympic games. It is shocking that our entire generation is busy with one colonial game which is still played by our colonial masters and their ex colonies which are mostly third world countries now.

Its good that we should focus on other games but that does not mean we should not enjoy this victory. We should take pride in this victory. I see so many comments like above on rediff full of negativity and hatred. The one thing which would take this country down is negativity. If you are so passionate to make other games popular you should do something about it. People leaving cricket would do no wonders..
Mao Zedong banned cricket as for him cricket was opium and war against addiction of cricket was like the opium war.Today China is at the top of the world of sports.
British Prime minister before olympics had said get rid of bollywood dance and focus on olympic sports. When will our prime minister say, please get rid of time wasting british colonial game ?

Well said Om Shanti! Unfortunately our most corrupted PM will not ban cricket in India. Only our people have to forget the laziest cricket which kills our development in each and every other games. Let us rise our voice continuously against junk and laziest cricket.
