No game can be banned anywhere in the world. It is for the people to understand the real nature of lazy cricket and keep it in its rightful place below other active and vigorous sports.

He is is not utilizing his chances, the other player who could be bought in is Ajinkya Rahane. Sehwag can be dropped to middle order as keeps saying that he wants to bat in the lower order.
Re: Raina
by Rupan on Aug 24, 2012 08:24 PM
absolutely . raina is totally a misfit in tests . Ambati Rayudu /Manoj Tiwary should be given a chance as they have the requisite technique for test matches .
poor spectator turn out and low viewers ratings suggest that criket slowly started loosing its popularity among the people .even in one day matches spectators turn out less compared to a decade ago.this is a good sign that will pave the way for the development of other sports in india .the recent olympics medals will put more boost to the ensuing trend.

which olympic medal?without a single gold.Sports in india will never develop.Coming days will continue to tell that I am right.

Yes,you are right. The hyderabad stadium where this test is going on has 55,000 capacity.Only 15,000 people turned up today. Five years back,at least 45,000 people would have come up.

I doubt it. Hyderabad is a relatively new test venue, and hence will take sometime for people to get used to the idea of watching test cricket. There's always been massive support for India in ODIs though. However, give the Hyderabadi public a decent test game (India vs Australia/South Africa) and you'll see more people turning up to watch the game. As for the low numbers, it is not because of losing interest in the game of cricket, but because it is a weekday.
Probably, a lot more people will turn up tomorrow, or the day after.
His scores outside India are pathetic. Technically poor with batting, never stepped up, only plays in Indian condition with 9 lives, even in today's score he had many lives. Scores in Indian conditions will only prolong his test career, but not much help to the team. Gambhir can be the new test captain.
Keep him for 1-day and 20-20, he is a very good player of short format.

What the hell you are doing at home!!!!Come and become BCCI president...they need you my friend!!
Re: Re: Time to DROP DHONI from the TEAM

Yes you're right time to change BCCI, most of them are corrupt and inept. What have they contributed toward cricket with so much money. Even 20-20 they copied from ICL. With so much money they can bring so many changes and innovation, but as long as these inept and corrupt people are at helm nothing will change. The same is the state of Indian politics and state, corrupt keep getting elected and everyday you see scams.
Before commenting further please look at Dhoni's scores outside India and in India in last 2 years and tell me why he is not a liability.

Being lions at home is enough for the mad Indian fans to revel for years.India winning the world cup at home is considered as a great achievement by Indian fans since they know India cannot win WC outside home.

What ??? You are breaking the hearts of so many Indians. It is ridiculous that you don't see such a stone-age game. You are not fit to live in stone-age India. Chetan Bhagat is absolutely right when he compared cricket with opium.
Lazy cricket is the equivalent of soap masala serials in the sportsworld.
