India and England were never deserving of no. 1 status. India can never be no 1 with banana throwers at 120kph. Thankfully India no 1 bubble burst soon.

Blame the rating system. There has to be a clear difference in points system when it is played at home and away. In the given system, India earned No.1 but could not keep it for long. India & England's state would be an eye opener for SA and will think of retaining it's No.1 Spot. A truly deserving Team to be in No.1 Spot. Congratulations SA !!!

But they won,t get chances to get groomed because selectors are interested in selection on zonal basis rather than the talent.Srikant and co is worst on this front.
Ian Bell is number one culprit for dragging his team to defensive mind set while Strauss is simply no more in international league & a bunny for most pacers.England must replace Strauss as Captain if they wish to win again
