Good South Africa

You have shown England defeat at Home in Lords which they thoroughly deserved.

Talking of 'English Pride', it had to have a mighty fall someday or the other.

Hope India can payback what England gave them in return with interest.

Engalnd will bounce back
by robinlee on Aug 21, 2012 10:38 AM

England has a formiddable team now. It will be a matter of time before they will bounce back to regain the number one slot.
Kevin peitersen has been first a traitor to his own country SA first and now a traitor to his adopted country. Good riddance.

ONLY ONE YEAR!
by prajyoth pradeep on Aug 21, 2012 10:03 AM

GOOD…GOOD…GOOD. So England lost at their own home. A place where England does ‘well’…. Like all other teams. Except they only lost to India in ’07 and lose to Australia every year because Australia plays them every year or two or four. Exactly a year after they took the no.1 from India they have lost it. JUST A YEAR. Same July- August last they lost and what not the commentators at ESPN and SKY were mouthing off and now just exactly after a year same time they have been HUMILIATED. In the one year they held the top spot they lost 5-0 to India in ODIs (remember its still a 100 overs unlike t20) and 2-0 to Sri Lanka. Does a Top ranked team lose like that? So IS IT a Top ranked Team? NO for Godsssake! The only team to have held the No.1 spot for such less time. India held that spot for 3 YEARS playing a variety of opposition. They beat South Africa in South Africa and would have won that series had it not been for a single...a single Jacques Kallis- Mark Boucher partnership. Well Australia held the spot for 74 months when the ratings were conveniently introduced when they playing well and playing England every other year. So the India born Hashim Amla and Philander do it for South Africa. I hear Kevin Peterson was not playing… you mean to say you need one South African to beat another South African.

The latest news is that england has lost the 3rd test by 51 runs and they are no more no 1 team. congo to SA no disrespect to Eng.but an over hyped team lost to a well desrved team.eng was compared to aussie team and a mighty west indian team by the journalist and former england players.despite having poor overaeas record.u can say now humpty dumpty(england) sat on a wall.humpty dumpty had had a great fall All the kings horses (media) and all the kings men could not put together humpty again This is the worst no 1 team in history even worse than India, who anyhow managed to No 1 for 22 months.

Look at there batting. Strauss, Cook, Bell and Taylor got in the 2nd innings 12 runs. Put in a donke..y with a table-tennis bat and it would have managed that. Top batsmen were in a no 1 team is a sad reflection of the current quality of test cricket. The worst no 1 team. I mean the former no 1 team.

They both are tied at 118...

They reamined No.1 in all 3 Formats Simultaneouly..

Last 1 Years;

Whitewashed;

India - 8 - 0

West Indies - 6 - 0

Pakistan - 4 - 0

Australia - 4 - 0..

Thats more praiseworthY,
THAN A "FREAKY WORLD CUP WIN", for a month,

followed by Series losses for an year!

Such a vicarious article, Indians publish!!

England are a side worse than ours..... When they came to India, they were whitewashed 5-0 with a raw Indian team.
Atleast we win comprehensively on our home soil. England lost even on home pitch :):)
