Dhoni should be careful as his performances in the recent past in all types of formats of cricket in the recent past. In addition, his captaincy proved worthless. Chairman of selection committee Srikant will be replaced by the all time greatest allrounder and the holder of man of the series in the one day world cup cricket in the year 1983 MOHINDER AMARNATH, who was also famous as GREAT COME BACK MAN. But sri Mohinder is a perfect cricketer with excellent fitness and he tested unfair treatment from the then selection committee of Indian cricket team and for this he was dropped time and again. But he always came back with great performance. So., Dhoni should be careful as Mohinderji does not like to be dicated as he himself was a fine cricketer and knows how to find the real talent and select the best team.
The team that Sourav built over the years, paid dividend in Dhoni era. Not much credit to him in team formation. Yuvraj, Bhajji, Sehwag all came and enjoyed Sourav's support to flourish in their respective areas. It was the sheer presence of Kumble, Laxman, Dravid, Tendulkar that helped the team to win matches abroad. In fact that started under Sourav Ganuly’s captaincy. Dravid and Kumble have also helped maintaining this winning streak in their regime. As a batsman and captain Dhoni's contribution in Test cricket was always questionable. I am not including one day or T20 here. Test cricket is a different ball game where you need real talent to survive and win over the opposition. Dhoni severely lacks in that aspect. He is a below per test batsman and not the best of the wicket keeper as well as far as test cricket is concerned.
always you remembered not as market brand as a base or backbone of indian cricket team. WHen dravid,sachin tingu, sehwag failed to save match then you are coming as angel.

You are right, now a days money is playing cricket. Cricketer like VVS did not enjoy the BCCI's support any time, if he fails in one innings they used to drop him, where as you take the case of Rohit Sharma who failed whole series in Sri Lanka still he is selected for T20 World cup, Cricketer must be from Mumbai so that he will enjoy the support of Board for ever despite lot of failures. From the beginning except in the case Dungapur regime Board stood behind Mumbai players. BCCI is meant for entire India not only for Mumbai, VVS is belongs to Hyderabad so the bad treatment to him. This was the case with board during great ML Jaisimha's time also. Who has gone to Australia on special flight and hit a century but in the next series has has been dropped. You take the case of Ajit Wadeker who hit only one century and got out on number of occasions on 99 lead the India replacing great MAK Pataudi. These all the examples of our BCCI
These are crocodile tears. I think MSD should retire from Test......& concentrate only on T20 (Harmful format of game for Cricket & ODI.) He is not a test player. And BCCI should call back VVS.
