when were U born???? Kapil Dev in his prime was bowling at 140 k.m atleast, it was later part of his career that his pace was reduced to 125 to 135 k.m ....... in those days speed guns were not regularly used.

Kapil Dev was just another medium pace swing bowler who stretched his career for breaking Hadlee's record of 431 Test wickets.
Irfan pls dont bother with your 115-120 Km/hr pace bowling. Play only IPL. There is lot of money in IPL. Test cricket is not your cup of Tea. Hope India someday gets a bowler of the Class of Brett Lee/Shoaib Akhtar. Umesh Yadav/Varun Aaron, the two most talented of the lot should aim to emulate these greats like Lee/Akhtar & shouldnt compromise on Pace.

actually not. Munaf is slow, lazy bowler. Always under the shadow of Zaheer. Even if you think he is successful in Indian pitches, it is not where next worldcup is going to be played.

with the pace that u bowl at, you would end up bowling 50 overs to pick 1 wicket.... already test cricket is a boring game, it need not get more worse by your inclusion....
u r good for IPL's where u can use ur allround skills.

u r right but problem is not what Irfan is, problem is what others are. I won't pick Irfan if pacer import from australia or pakistan and all rounder import from south africa is allowed.
is not fit to play international cricket. In fact both Pathan brothers. Look at the pace at which Irfan bowls, in fact is is better to play a spinner instead of him. Batting of both brothers is a complete fluke!

Irfan is the best all-rounder successful we have got in India. If u want pace in India watch Indian Grand Prix Formula 1. ODI stats show that trio of Irfan, Zaheer and Praveen is as potent as Kulasekara, Malinga, Perera and trio of Gul, Tanvir and Sami.

you are correct but i guess u did not have Sir Jadeja in your mind. If not you are obsolutely correct. This guy cannot survive without pace.
