YES HATS OF TO CHOOSE THE TEAM ONE OR TWO BAD SELECTIONS BUT REST IN HIS TENURE INDIANS DID FAIR JOB AS PER SELECTION ONE OT TWO TOURS WENT BAD FOR INDIA BUT IT DOES NOT MEANS ALL THE TIME WILL BE SAME , ALL IMPORTANT WORLD CUP VICTORY 2012 THAT WAS MADE POSSIBLE BY GIVING CHANCE TO YOUNG CRICKETERS TO COME TO WORLD PLATFORM AND PERFORM , I DONT HAVE ANY REGRETS IN HIS TENURE FOR PAST 4YRS AS CHAIRMAN OF SELECTING.
Krishnamachari Srikanth has done a very decent job as Chairman of Indian Selection. Indian public tend to forget the past quiet easily. Except for the England and Aussie tour, India faired pretty well in the last 4 years of Srikanth's Tenure. Even won the all important World Cup. It was a good tenure as Selection Chairman by Kris Srikanth. Well done Sir!!

Any Indian team can win on flat tracks. First he should throw out hugenipples Ashwin from the team..... Selection was useless even in the WC. Clowns like Sreesant & Chawla were given a free run.....
Logged in to Rediff, went straight to sports column, and was shocked to see "Team Anna: What was Srikkanth and..." then shook my head and read it right...:D
Re: Raina should play in place of VVS after this tournament

Who authorized you to say anything about VVS anyways? If he wants to retire it is his call and not some couch potatoe's call.
Youmust be really joking when you say Raina is ready for tests. May be you havent watched Raina in England. Watch some before becoming a selector.
I am very much surprised by the article that how can you forget Dhoni without mentioning him in the test team. He never performed in test team, he should be the one to be dropped first and also, how can you say that Raina has got leasdership skills. He is neither strong on technique not he has got good skills. There are many in line for leader like GAutam, Kohli, Pujara and Rohit. Shame on the person writing this article...
Analysis is quite correct. Team selections are absurd to say the least. For eg. Ishant Sharma with 5 wickets in last 4 tests and mediocre performance in IPL is back in test side. There is no explanation for leaving our Ajinkya Rahane and preferring Rohit Sharma who himself would have got surprise of his life on his selection. Unless of course he polishes Dhoni and Srikant's balls quite well (same way as Dhoni polishes Srinivasan's balls). Srikant has to obviously take blame as he is chief selector. Dhoni though not keen but is still happy to retain test captaincy as he knows this is home series that too against New Zealand. Only Yusuf does not deserve a place in T20 and has been correctly left out.

Tendulkar is the best and we should have 10 tendulkars in the team with one Cheer Leader to keep people of India and Team India interested.
i dont know why people hate our tamil players. first they tried to blame ashwin but after proving his match winning performances they are trainng their guns on mukund and balaji. i despite of giving chances rohit has failed miserably but still there is no talk of bringing badrinath back. also sehwag and gambhur have failed in test , it is high time to bring back talented murali vijay and make him a regular in all formats

murli vijay and mukund are 3rd class players and should be ousted completely untill they can play short, fast stuff.and people dont hate tamil players but hate groupism and special preferences given to tamil players over others.
