sir it is by playing sheer politics that this guy has influenced srikant sir to include him. earlier it was gulguli and that overhyped ktaka kumbli who had included him. but captain dhoni soon recognized his inability and rightly kept this fellow out of team. and the emergence of our own ashwin put this guy out of team permanently. as long as ashwin is playing it is better to keep this man out. he also has no sportsmanship and will bring bad name to the team.
In the shorter formats of the game (ODIs and T20), the team can use the off spin bowling talent of Sehwag, Raina, and Rohit Sharma. If Manoj Tiwari is playing, he can bowl leg spin.
In view of this, I see absolutely no reason why the team should include Ashwin or Harbhajan as specialist off spinners, especially since both are big liabilities on the field.
The selectors tried players like Piyush Chawla and Pragyan Ojha earlier but did not give either of them long runs like they did for Bhajji and Ashwin.
It will useful to try new spinners like Iqbal Abdulla (who plays for KKR), Bhat (who plays for KXIP) and give them a long run of matches to establish themselves.

He tries to create his USP by using words like "doosra/teesra" and then he contacts someone from the media to "sell" his USP - and there are few of these media guys who goes gung-ho about him in the print....thereby prompting "elite" group of selectors to get bowled by his "doosras/teesras" and thats how gets selected in the team! And once selected all these talk of "doosras and teesras" take a backseat as he cannot produce any of them in the match!!!! but who cares, by such time he would have made crores of money..!

u r absolutely right. He thinks himself smart, while the world doesn't! The world is smarter than him and hence he was shoed away for a year from the team. Now that Srikanth and co. is on the verge of exit, they have trid to be good to everybody - be it inclusion of Bhajji or retaining Laxman and in the process screwed up Indian cricket.
