by ganesh sapkal on Aug 12, 2012 12:52 AM

Watch how all Brahmin selectors defend their players.....example commentary of sastri, gavaskar , sharma and bhogle.Everybody says Caste is not an issue nowadays but watch how brahmin plays and we clap for applause even if we are hurt.

EXPERIENCE THE PREDOMINENT FLAVOUR OF INDIA T-20 SIDE
by damodaran mohan on Aug 11, 2012 04:14 PM

Experience seems to be the predominant flavour for the T-20 WC squad. Selectors seems to have given a short shrift to ‘inexperience’ and have virtually ignored few very good young spinners and pacers who did emerge in IPL. The selectors have preferred experienced Zaheer, Bhajji , Balaji etc instead perhaps keeping in mind the pressure of bowling in death over etc. Only youngsters picked is Piyush Chawla who is also an experienced hand. While Balaji and Chawla had performed well in IPL but Zaheer and Bhajji were super flops and were one of the reasons for their respective team losing the race to the Final. Any way let us hope their experience will help the side do well and win the WC and become a memorable gift to them , perhaps in their last WC outing. On the batting side, we can only hope inclusion of Rohit Sharma ahead of a more reliable A Rahane should not pose serious batting problem since YUVI’s form and fitness is also a question mark. Of course, the way YUVI fought back the fate with courage and determination selectors had no option but to take the chance and hope the matchwinner in YUVI returns. All in all the team indeed looks good and will certainly be the favourites provided likes of Sehwag, Rohit etc. also come good.Only worry is the seniors heavy team doesn't suffer in fielding .Likes of Kohli, Raina, Rohit, Tiwary etc. will have to cover in the fielding for the missing younger legs.

Yuvraj makes comeback
by leslie dsouza on Aug 11, 2012 12:26 PM

who was desperate for the yuvraj in the squad, yuvraj himself or the BCCI. if Yuvraj than it is justified that he is unemployed, and also he is not married, nobody would give his daughter in marriage to an unemployed waste. if it is BCCI than you know the eccentric shrikant, whose brain is only like vada sambhar, as he can see only the vada's hole and not beyond.

Where is Yusuf Pathan? If Rohit has sheer talent and can be in team for years without actually performing...then for T20 Yusuf (with his batting and bowling)was an obvious selection ....why is he not getting selected????????
