do selectors have any idea of balance of team, selecting eight batsmen and only five bowlers ? where is umesh yadav after his outstanding performance down under ? who is godfather of piyush chawla promoting him everywhere inspite of totally indifferent performance

I think for this NZ team even three bowlers will be enough.
They did not get it right. they will never also. They will continue to play Rohit in one dayers and he will never consistently succeed and they will never give him a chance in tests. his games suites tests - not one days. suresh raina will not succeed in NZ and then they will throw him out of one dayers in the name of 'poor form'. he is suited for one days and rohit is suted for tests. they play them in the wrong format and conculde 'poor form'.

Raina in tests is strange. But Chawla is the Best leg spinner in India. He has all the variations and should be given support to blossom.

It is likely that Raina will now play at 6 , VK at 3 and rest unchanged . It will defeat the very purpose of grooming Pujara the most promising player as regards tests. also Raina is Dhoni's friend and csk team mate so 100% certain Pujara misses out and the flop raina plays
laxman is fighter and a true legend of game cos he has played so many classy innings even sachin and bradman also dreamt to play kike him he is a true champion.

Yes inlclude DHoni Baba to get some flat pitch practice.. so next time oversees we will not be drubbed 4-0 :) ..the defeat should not be more than 3-1 :)

dhoni i said because they never only because it at home and india never groomed someone for captaincy, Gautam good but is not favored by selectors. Dhoni record as batsman and wk and captain outside india is atrocious. Anyone should have dropped him after his last shot @ waca test,

ok..agree..however.. Sachin wud replace 1 from Pujara/Rahane/Sharma.. shudnt try number of new lot.. either sharma or rahane needs to sit..Ideally both shud b there but we cant remove Dhoniji for now

it is high time Sachin did what dravid did , give way to selectors secondly, it was selectors fault who should have brought the next gen batsman one by one some 2-3 yrs back.
