It's high time to replace Sehwag with a youngster.

SRT has said he plans to continue till 2015 WC

SRT has said he plans to continue till 2015 WC. He is actually competing Kallis. Even Kallis wants to play till 2015 and both have same age.
May be in 2015 we would see father and son in same team.

Laxman it is time to retire.

Common, you cannot play a 40 year old man, when you have talented youngsters. Laxman is genious but he was never super consistent like Tendulkar. When it clicks Laxman comes up with bigger scores, so his average does not tell the true picture. Tendulkar is probably not as dashing as Sehwag or Gayle, but for Test and ODIs he is still the best we got in the Indian team. . When Tendulkar plays for India, it also plays on the oponents mind, it brings their confidence down. Tendulkar provides the Pshycological advantage against the oponents. May be not as much as before, because India is not an one many army like it was 5 years back. Tendulkar is also National pride, the majority of the Indians want him to break every record possible. We want an Indian name in the record books for the next 200 years or forever.

Sachin is more consistent than Laxman. But it's Laxman who delivers when it matters most.

4 innings in almost 150 matches... u call it delivering when it matters or u r like moronic media who spread lies for fools to believe...
lasman was / is and will always remain a very very selfish player who tried and sometime succeeded not when it matters but when it gave only him the glory...

Laxman is 37 and Sachin is 40 .

If you call VVS 40 yr old then how come same rules do not apply for sachin?

If Laxman and Tendy plays
by Frodo Baggins on Aug 09, 2012 05:29 PM  | Hide replies

So can Gavaskar and Kapil Dev on these placid wickets against a team that has just been thrashed by West Indies
Gumbeer should not be considered because he has a vision problem and is a backstabber.
