IRFAN SHOULD BE TRIED IN TESTS JUST AS A BATSMAN,HIS BOWLING IS A BONUS.HE IS ONE OF THE FEW BATSMEN IN INDIA WHO PLAY PACE WELL IN ALL CONDITIONS.HE MUCH BETTER BATSMEN AGAINST PACE THAN,RAINA,ROHIT,YUVRAJ,TIWARI,DHONI ETC.TEAM MANAGEMENT AND SELECTORS SHOULD SUPPORT AND INDUCE CONFIDENCE IN HIM.PROBLEM WITH OUR SELECTORS AND MANAGEMENT IS THAT THEY JUST WANT TO LOOK AT HIS BOWLING,THEY FAIL TO SEE HIS BATTING CAPABILITY AGAINST PACE BOWLING.INSTEAD OF ROHIT,TIWARY,RAHANE OR ANY OTHER NEW GUY,HE SHOULD BE TRIED FOR NO.3 OR 4 IN TESTS AND IN TRIPS TO ENGLAND,AUS,SOUTH AFRICA,NEWZEALAND.

He has done very well in this series and should definitely be given chances. I believe Yuvraj & Irfan can make a superb combination as all-rounders. But to say that he is better than Raina, Yuvraj, Tiwary, Dhoni?? I think thats a bit too much. I feel he is more valuable in the middle order than the top order (though he has done well there).
Talented Rohit sharma???? What has talent got to do when you cant produce results? There are over a lakh talented players in india who are talented but cannot get opportunities. A quote from BATMAN BEGINS,"deep down you might be much more, but it is what you do that defines you"
I just searched for India vs South Africa ODI series in South africa perhaps in 2011 to find out Virat's performances there . He topped indian batting charts there in the five matches he played , scored two fifties .Though as far as average is concerned , Yusuf Pathan stole the show with one hundred and one fifty .Virat scored a 54 in the first ODI and 87 not out in the fourth match , where he was the only one to weather the storm of the south africa quicks . He scored 87 out of india's 130 or 140 odd .If the match had not been washed out due to dukcworth lewis,he may have scored hundred as well. He also scored two fifties in Perth and Brisbane in two of the bounciest tracks in Australia apart from scoring the scorching ton at Hobart .So his average if we consider both in south africa and australia are nearly 50 , which is the maximum in the two series combined for al the indian batsmen in the team . This has to be answer to peoples' questions raised against this delhi dasher's performances or scepticism against quicks in bouncy tracks..
congrats india for winning the t20 match.it was a team efforts.score of 155 was achievable but starting blow by pathan avoided the strong foundation.the original thinking of pitch report or toss is secondary matter.pathan made best use of his selection.the new bowling coach is doing wonderful work.the wickects were such that the batsman had to commit mistake as it is t20 fast cricket.first 6 overs were fital.dinda and umesh were initially expensive so role of virat and Rohit for 5th bowler was important but later dinda and unmesh performed nicely.Raina, virat batting was important to score 155.it was a team effort. It is tough to beat srilanka in srilanka.all the best for New zealand tour of India.
Some F00ls are blaming BCCI and cricket for sorry status of Indian in Olympics. Why blaming the BCCI and Cricket? Its the State run Sports Ministry which is more responsible for sorry status of sports and sportsmen in our country? Do we really need a Sports Minister?are we really need that IDI_OT? We all know where we are in the HOCKEY now? What's our positions in the other sports comparing to China and US in Olympics? These Idi_ots in ministry ruined the Hockey federation for their own political gains.
BCCI has done a great job to made India the Super power in International Cricket including the IPL, without taking any financial help from Government. In fact BCCI is supporting the players of other sports at some level as well.
rohit sharma still doing in the team-his two greatest supporters gavaskar and shastri spew venom on every other cricketer--are they in rohit sharma's payroll-do they have any connection which handles publicity for that pathetic player!!

it is a fact that Rohit sharma failed in all these games, but he is talented.no doubt..every player whether it is sehwag, gauti, sachin, dhoni, kohli, pathan, uv, or for that matter sachin, rahul, laxman also failed many times in their career..giving them chances does not mean favouritism..it will give them self confidence..you cannot dhoni or other cricketers for this attitude..

actually it seems that Rohit Sharma is very talented -so talented that his talent is yet to be visible to all even after almost 5 years in International Cricket -but not to worry he is very talented !
Srilanka is very worst team they cannot chase a 156 runs in a 20 over game, this people is only capable to beat the small teams otherwise they will fight the less target to acheive.

U see the 2nd ODI in this series how they are played they have finished the match less than 19 overs, they are only capable to do that.
you are loosing in HOCKEY as much as your winning in CRICKET much to the annoyance of our CRICKET competitors e.g NEW ZEALAND, AUSTRALIA, WEST INDIES, ENGLAND, SOUTH AFRICA n ETC ETC ETC !!!!!!!!!
