IPL is watched by idiots
by brian crasto on Apr 28, 2012 09:58 AM  | Hide replies

According to George Bernard Shaw CRICKET is a game played by 22 fools and followed by
22000 fools, but in India it is watched by atleast 100 million. A country that doesnt not have proper education, medical factilities can waste their time on this game. It seems that indians are either jobless or have nothing better to do. The only people who are making money are the organiser, advertisers and cricketer.

its money spinning game
by divine on Apr 28, 2012 06:38 AM

IPL is nothing but money spinning game with glamor. Nothing special about it. No doubt, its batsmen game and the bowlers are slaughter house animals.
Its useless form of cricket wasting money and time which once lost cannot be regained.

Poor Form of the current Indian Team at IPL V
by jescon on Apr 27, 2012 03:42 PM

Current Indian Team after facing defeats in England,Australia and other tournaments are at their lowest form and are under Depression.None of the Team member has shown any brilliance for their Teams in this IPL.Only overseas players have shown brilliance and zeal to perform their duty, for which they are rightly paid for.None of the current indian players is in Top 5 batsman or Bowlers.Rahane,Uttapa and Munaf Patel are not team member.Rahane & Uttapa will be included in the Team when they will finish their best form.Players should be selected on the present form and not on the 5 years consistancy record.

arae, see his average in first 10 games.the ba---d & northern card plays favour to Kohli. they can play well in IPL/India where the ball will not rise above knee.the uselesses like Dhoni, raina, yuvi, kohli can't play in abroad ie fast pitches where the ball moves & bounces.

IPL IS OVER AND OUT
by v vv on Apr 24, 2012 11:04 AM

People are fed up of cricket, and particularly it has become too much, and the present day youngsters are not showing much keen in this game. It is only the media making a big hype for this game. Anything overrdone will lose its respect and image, and the same is in this case also.

Nice Article
by Face Dude on Apr 24, 2012 06:28 AM

Great Job by the author to bring out the point that just one over determines the fate of a 0-20 match. In most of the cases above the team that bats first hits 25 odd extra runs during the burst in the final two overs and the team that chases just falls short by as many runs!

IPL captains should have to handle the last 3-4 overs of the game very very carefully and may have to come out with strategies that saves / wins for them.

The key is to not let the batsmen go on rampage. 10-12 runs is fine but anything above would prove costly during the chase!
