IPL V

It is too early to judge performances of Indian stars with only 6 matches for each team gone. But it is Rahane who has caught the eyes of every one and deserves a permanent place in Indian team in the shorter versions. Similarly Munaf patel has done well and surely he will be back in the Indian team.

How can you comment like this on a person who has moulded himself in the footsteps of legendary WV Raman and S Ramesh, not to forget compatriates, the great Badrinath, Anirud and Abhinav

Sanjay, im not amused with your sarcasm.
Had they been given chances like the sharma's and raina's maybe they would have excelled.
Ramesh, badrinath were all dropped abruptly without any reason.
so stop your nonsense.

so many contradiction in your statement, How Murli Viay could have moulded his batting in the foot steps of Anirudh,Abhinav? Both are very much junior to him. Also No cricketer would have moulded himself like S. Ramesh, who did not have foot work, it is a wonder how he played so many test matches. After seeing his batting it was Ganguly suggested about his quality as a batsman to Selectors. Vijay has lost his form recently and never recovered. But when you see him play with Balance and foot work you cannot dismiss him like this. Badrinath was very unfortunate. When for a entire decade he was leading batsman in domestic cricket. AT that time he was repeatedly ignored. He was a test Batsman, he was selected for WI tour but they have played him in One day matches and since he is not suited to that format, he failed. Subsequently he was ignored. Badrinath failed only in 2 innings. The selectors dropped him. Whereas Suresh Raina even though he was suited for Tests , he was given so many chances after repeated failures. Same is with Rohit Sharma , he failed too many times , but still he is being given chances.
