How many centuries Uthappa scored in T20? None. You remember this. This is not war between Karnataka and Tamil Nadu, only game between two teams. Where is the question of Avenge or revenge? In fact so many people from Karnataka were playing Chennai league matches earlier. Rahul Dravid played for India Cements, the present owner of CSK. Your Brijesh Patel played for Globe Trotters. Countless others like Vijaya Krishna , Jayaprakash played here. Why you are against CSK. If a team plays better cricket at that moment they will win. What is this Non sense.

Dhoni's cricketing abilities so many people criticise, they dont realise the management capabilities of him. He has confidence in certain players because of their talents. He is having patience , when team needs victory, they will raise to the occasion and deliver good. For example for the first three matches Albie morket did not contribute any thing, but Dhoni did not drop him. See the last match none other than him could have won the match for CSK and he delivered at the crucial moment. Dhoni's confidence can make fringe players like Joginder Sharma a hero. It happened in first t20 world cup.

CSK batting is good enough. It is bowling which is lackluster.

Dada should have opted out of ipl for his own sake
by Rajan S on Apr 14, 2012 12:08 PM  | Hide replies

In his prime,he used to a a great leader and a great opening batsman for india. He could come and pierce the gaps in field with utmost ease thanks to his amazing off side play. But having said that,as age caught up with him, his reflexes has also slowed down and now he is not anywhere near to what he used to be.His running between the wickets and fielding was always susceptible. So now all in all,sad to say he is a real liability for pune warriors team as he cannot play attacking cricket as his reflexes have slowed down.He cannot take quick singles or convert one's in to two's. The momentum gets lost at the start itself for pwi as he comes in the most crucial spot for them. First six overs, a team has to get maximum runs and that cant be done with fours and sixes alone but also with ones and two's.Even if a team gets two boundaries an over, they can only gets the maximum out of it by getting singles and two's and there by rotating the strike.Unfortunately with ganguly these days,he can't get that much out of an over and adds to that, he doesnt like to hit out from the start. He wud try to occupy the crease which in turn makes his team loose 10 or 15 crucial balls. His fielding also leaves much to be desired. And only an inform ganguly with the bat can demand performance from the players and if he himself feels that he is a burden to the team,he cannot be that inspirational leader which he used to be

Gungooly gives the edge to pune's batting...leading edge, inside edge, outside edge, top edge ...so how can he be dropped ?

Also he gives people something to laugh about by running out partners.
