when batsman stands his ground after given out and matter is referred to third umpire.why baller can not have same right. In this case sangakara is unsporting culprit but he has not been touched by referee.

It's related to the game's history. historically it was the game of aristocrats. And, rich people used to hire commoners to bowl to them. that's how it all starts about treating umpires as g o d , and batsmen have the upper hand.
How would a normal person react when a clean bowled decision is given "not out" or not reviewed, despite having complete access to the technology these days? Sports men are supposed to be more aggressive & so the reaction to such non-sense by the umpire is justified. Where are rules for umpires to behave? When Stev bucknor, immitated (to taunt Rahul Dravid for ball tampering)..was he warned or fined? No. If umpires are human beings and let go due to errors...so are players...keeping quiet for a gross injustice is also coward!!!

ohhhhh technology..... the world think that you guys r against technology (read DRS) and still prefer umpires word for decisions.. why this hypocracy then?
Bhajji started it by intimidating the umpires. The stupidity of making a goon the captain is mind-boggling !! He is scum and needs to be banned from IPL.

bhajji first confirmed from munaf patel whether batsman was out and after that he approached umpire who in turn looked foolish when batsman got by third umpire.

the umpires started it by being arrogant and not referring it to the third ump. what is the third umpire for? swatting flies?

Whatever be the decision of the umpire, Bhajji and Munaf brought another shame to cricket. I saw the entire show live which lasted for 5 minutes. They intimidated and finally forced the umpires to reverse the Decision. Another jewel in the cap of Bhajji.
Bhajji, Munaf should had been banned for the whole IPL. But who will go against Mr Mukesh Ambani, the richest Indian.
you will find that the argument was escalated by Harbhajan and later Munaf took off; so ideally both should have fined and with Harbhajan being captain should have shown more responsibilities;

he showed his responsibilities by backing his bowler munaf. in the end correct decision made
why don't you write a letter to the match referee protesting mild punishment to bhaj?

Good. The government has already refused. Ask all your friends to join you too. When will your event happen?
