why r u scared of sachin centuries ? Or u dont have hopes in any other batsman against great bangla bowling attack :)
Re: Re: Sachin must be
by rajkamal dubey on Apr 10, 2012 03:00 PM
No, defeat because of Tendulkar brand of selfishness is possible only in ODI's where you ve limited overs...in Test Matches, i believe it would be a draw from a winning position because Tendulkar in all his selfishness would love to go for that next landmark....and India will not declare in time or something like that and the team cause wud suffer
Re: Re: Re: Sachin must be
by Against Pseudos on Apr 10, 2012 03:19 PM
;-).. And other "batsmen" would score 20, and snatch defeat from the jaws of a draw. ;-)

ok dubey ji.. pls help me understand when it was draw from winning position when bowler were performing :) .. ok WI tour.. oh u forgot.sachin was not there :) and yeah he made India win series against England..scoring century in 4th inning sand also Aussies drubbed 2-0 in their Indian tours.. thats just part of the answer :)

The very opposite reason to why you do not want one !!!!....and believe me reason for wanting such a GUARANTEE is good for the team (may not be for the individual selfish interest)

great opportunity for mr. dhoni to prove himself as a great captain.

nothing.. w ewill balme on sachin.. if he scores.. he would be blamed for batting against minnows..if he fails.. he would anyway be screwed.. so lets focus on sachin bashing.. Hail Dhoni / Jdeja and some people were commenting on Sehwag as one of the greatest opener..lets support him to score 600 on flat pitch.. but more focus should be on nonsense sachin bashing !!

Do not under estimate Bangaladesh Bowlers and for that matter overrate SRT against bangladesh. Every match would be a challenge. And the way they played the Asia Cup, I wouldn't be surprised if they are able to pull few surprises.

are the other batsman scared of bangla bowling so they cant score ? :) Or they are not able to withstand them as well

Just the way he completed his 96th, 97th, 98th and 99th centuries against SA and England.:)

by Muhammed on Apr 10, 2012 02:16 PM
similar way he scored more than 35 centuries against weak bowling attack and an docile flat tracks. C'mon he is going to dazzle as he scored his 100th 100 against World's BEST bowling attack and every one knows about the result of that century -:)
Re: Re: Re: and now sachin will complete his 105th ton too

20 against Aus, 17 against Srilanka, 12 against SA, 9 against England and NewZealand each, 7 against WI and Pakistan each. Overall 81 centuries against good bowling attack. Better get some knowledge and then start barking you Paki.

Mahmood :: You are probably new to cricket.. from where did u carved ou the gr8 figure of 35 centuries ? He has 19 centuries only against ZIM/BANG/KEN/NAMIBIA.. Apart from that all the countires have good bowling.. atleats better than India ? I would even cosider Bnagla bowling superior to India.. so do proper analysis and then comment..secondly what is a result of century ..I though its always result of match and not century :) .. and it pathetic bowling we India have.. else even Pak wouldnt have won 92 WC..if they didnt have great bowling attck !! :)

You consider Srilanka and New zealand as good bowling attack?? do some analysis, how many of he scored in subcontinent - figure is more than 35.

I think Muralitharan and Chaminda vaas were from Sri Lanka. Please correct me Muhammed (paki) if I am wrong as unlike you, I have very limited knowledge about cricket. Also since Muralitharan was a spinner he was more effective in subcontinent. Please correct me again if I am wrong.

also for Dhoni/Gambhir/Sehwag.. afterall they have pathetic record overseas..Sachin is better than them.. no wonder 300 from sehwag is in making .. but lets support him..and bash sachin :)..an oh yes..Dhoni-the batsman too
Re: Re: Great news for Tendu
by rajkamal dubey on Apr 10, 2012 03:04 PM
Let's bash all of them...selfish Sachin, the pretender Dhoni, reckless Sehwag etc....all of them

Tinpot Money:
Well said... He's the ONLY Indian batsman who can withstand the Bangladesh bowling.. .no? :) Others would score paltry runs, and lose the match... quoting some imaginary "don't want to score personal runs" type reasons.. :)
Re: Re: Great news for Tendu
by rajkamal dubey on Apr 10, 2012 03:09 PM
in ODI's yes, if you open the innings and consume 147 deliveries (almost half of total available), where is the time for others ????......in Test matches, NO....5 days is too long for Tendulkar's selfishness and everyone including "Dhonii the great" will have a party
Re: Re: Re: Great news for Tendu

ok can u pleas lay out the batting performances of dhonmi the great batsman..it shud be awzome by ur logic :)

pearl vaz
I don't think it will make much of difference. You get more points for playing against top level teams. You won't get enough points playing and winning against bangladesh.
Also, I like how you have made win against bangladesh as a forgone conclusion. Don't you remember asia cup ? Either ways, to win a test match you need to get 20 wickets.
I don't think we have bowlers who can take 20 wickets.
