Mahendra Singh Dhoni was born in Ranchi, Bihar (now in Jharkhand).[4] His paternal village Lvali is in the Lamgarha block of the Almora District of Uttarakhand. Dhoni's parents, moved from Uttarakhand to Ranchi where Pan Singh worked in junior management positions in MECON. Dhoni has a sister Jayanti and a brother Narendra. Dhoni had long hair which he has now shortened; he cut it because he wanted to look like his favourite film star John Abraham(actor). He likes bikes. Dhoni studied at DAV Jawahar Vidya Mandir, Shyamali,(now the school is known as JVM, Shyamli, Ranchi) Ranchi, Jharkhand where he initially excelled in badminton and football and was selected at district and club level in these sports. Dhoni was a goalkeeper for his football team and was sent to play cricket for a local cricket club by his football coach. Later he polished under the captaincy of ADIL HUSSAIN in CCL thr captain of Ranji Team then for jharkhand.Also don't forget the contribution of CHANCHAL BHATTACHARYA who took him to COMMANDO'S XI to play A and B division LEAGUE and Mr. Dhoni even Didn't invite me when he was goin to marry.Absolutely disgusting it mean's its become a thimb rule that when you became big star you can forget your mentor,coach or chilhood friends,it means Mr. Dhoni is coming in the same bracket what other big star had done in their life.

Absolutely true DADA mean's a true legend,Brainy cricketer,mentally very very strong resilient.Those who is doubting Dada's captainship skills or the best flameboyant as a batsman it means these people has very little cricketing sense.The lost in IPL by KKR in first three session was not due to DADA but the team was very poor,Imagine what DADA could have done with the bunch of boy's presently in KKR.Methink Dada even don't let an opponents to win any single match with the present team in KKR.
