Cook was on 49 but English players were so absorbed about winning the match they forgot about personal milestones. Michael Clarke had an opportunity to break Lara's record but decided to declare. When will Indian players learn their lesson? When will Sachin stop hating on Dravid for denying him his 200 against Pakistan. When will Sachin start thinking about team?

in the same vein ask mahela to retire for scoring a useless century in a losing cause against a lowly eng spin attack and by not allowing youngsters to fail and perform in 2023 WC

Well said. If Sachin had scored a century and India lost, the haters would have had a field day
It was a great match for sheer entertainment from Pietersen . Also it was really obsorbing . Finall phase when Cook was on 49 and there were some 15 odd runs required - Indian crikters will defend struggle and at times lose wickets because they want the other batsman to score 50 .Here the one purpose is to win .Period .What a differance ? We saw similar thing with Australian team so often .For Indian heroes let the team lose does not matter -did I get hundred or fifty or willI get 5wkts . Well enjoy the circus called IPL.
