Lossing is only 1 and the other is tie :) .. and secondly his 70% centuries are in win cause.. if need explaination.. scroll the thread for 1 page !! And if u really 96 wc match we lost by SACHIN.. tehn what would u say when Prabhakar started bowling as a spin bolwer after being smacked by Jayasurya all around :).. u need to analyse that particular match properly .. 271 was abig big score in those days !!

Bhunu,dont spread wrong info,Only 67% of his centuries are in winning cause.He got one of the lowest Winning rate,Ganguly,dhoni,yuvraj,Sehwag,Anwar,Yohana,ponting,Jayawardne etc. All got better %age of Winning centuries..

Silver Mani.. frankly i will tell you ..you need to see the number of matches as wekll.. the more u play ur winning% abnd avereage is at stake.. its tought o maintain the same records for so long else manoj tiwwari is best after bradman as his average is 60 :) And for all the non-indian bastman.. they have good bowling to defend.. you really feel Ganguly was a match winner :) ..though he was a great captain but great batsman only at times !!

but does that mean other 10 players are and not sachin ? comeon someone scores big and team loses..whose fault..and FYI In 1 of the match 23004 karachi sachin strike rate in centruy was more than 100..yet India lost technically..whose fault now :)

AND 1 MORE THING.. PONTING AND JAYSURYA has better % of winning in centries.. as they have scored most such kind of centruies against pathetic Indian bowling :)

Bhunu,Again u misleading the facts,Ponting Scored 6 centuries against India out of 30,Similarly Jayasurya scored 7 Out of 28 ODIs Against India..So India alone is responsible for their better records..Lol..

Absolutely correct. But unfortunately in our country even one who has not touched the bat wakes up to criticise or pass a remark. Alvin Kalicharan's century at Port of Spain in 1976 went in losing cause when 3 spinners failed to defend 402 runs. Never again it happened to them when they decided to play 4 quality seamers. Even 38 runs wemt for winning cause in 1983 World Cup when lowly rated Indian Medium pacers shocked mighty West Indies.
