He lacks pace but makes it up with his commitment and hard work. Surprisingly he looked best among the lot in the Aus series mainly because of the disciplined line and length bowling.He is able to get the swing also and that makes him deadly at times although he will have to be more consistent.Easi;ly he is one of the most commited and disciplined bowlers in the Indian squad.I am not sure if it is possible to increase his pace but if he manages then he will be a complete bowler.
Useless guy..... He needs to improve his pace and variation. He bowls like a robot, same speed, same length, same line..... Frankly, he has still a long way to go before he can be called a good bowler.

Vinay Kumar with his speed of 120's kmh is like a spinner only. Had it not been India, he would not have even included in club teams.

he is not a match winner, but he always bowled tight spells and took regular wickets when needed unlike so called fast bowler dinda,praveen kumar getting hammered all over the place by bangla batsmen.
in another rediff thread it says "Praveen is set to represent Kings XI Punjab in the fifth edition of the Indian Premier League." there is inconsistency with this and that thread.

Vinay Kumar is a paceman! Ha Ha Ha! India have only 3 real paceman! Dinda, Aaron and Umesh Yadav with 140 plus speed. All others are mere medium pacer.

Hi Paki, Its brain versus brawn. We have the former and you have the latter. Evolution shows the former comes trumps. We dont need gorillas to throw a cricket ball. A Mcgrath would be much better than a Shoaib on any given day. And stop making comments like Hayya Re Hayya like AC/DC
