In T20 Yes, it does matter

In T29 format you need fast players. Experience matters very little. One should be stronger and faster. Quick running between the wickets and covering the ground very fast during fielding, cutting off boundaries at the last moment. Quick reflexes. All these qualities start vanishing with age.

Age does not matter but shrewdness and tactics matter in T20 oficurse backed up by your physical fitness if you are aged.
