BOPARA

Mogunbo :

The England team cares least about caste when they selected Bopara and Patel. Infact, if Raina was in foreign country. He would be selected there as well for 1 dayer. So leave this caste angle from sports, forces and science positions.
Rest of place that are non-critical, we dont need to worry about talent this is were we can give preference to people from poverty.

But foreign countries don't care about indian poverty criteria even, they just use it to exploit and convert to increase their power be it arabia or vatican.

Well said - US never fights that this player is from Florida state (TN) or some player is from Oregon(Punjab)
or someone from WB (NY) or someone from Delhi (illionos) etc I hope geographically it is equivalent !

Sharma....

Brahman first. Had he been a non-brahman with a handicap, he would have been rejected on medical reasons. Who knows how much training this brahman has got in the background at taxpayers' money. Same thing is with Raina. He is there because he is just a kashmiri pundit and kashmiris want their own in every major field. India is not a nation. A nation is known when and how it performs at an International level

Harbhajan didn't deserve axe: Akram
by D S on Oct 01, 2011 02:31 PM  | Hide replies

Akram is again playing politics. Harbhjan can always be recalled because he is now leading Mumbai Indians once his performance improves.

Akrams speaks few good lines, then he goes back to double faced politics.

Just let Indian selectors do a good job, they have lined right people spin (hopefully pragyan is in as well), now they have to try good pacers and batting line up.

'I saw Tendulkar's legs shivering while facing Akhtar' -Afridi

Afridi is a divider of people and hating bigot on basis of religion. We have seen it already.
Afridi is kind of person who can be tamed by angrezi-western beating right at place he lives.
Then he will play for ECB T20 to make money. Not far back in time, Mongols did beat
his kind when they converted them all over.

Akhtar and afridi should be ashamed, the body of akhtar broke down and could not deliver the pace consistently, it broke down. Something is wrong in his body makeup or diet. Even in his best times, Akhtar never had wicket taking capacity of Lee, Mcgrath, etc. About, tendulkar, it had his good and bad times. Maybe after his marriage, he became more money minded business person and a wimp.

Akhtar became far worse than a bowling machine. And tendulkar did fine against faster and more accurate bowlers than Akhtar in his prime time.

Bhajji's performance
by Pankaj Mehta on Oct 01, 2011 01:56 PM

On tour to England Bhajji didn't get wicket much, it doesn't mean that he is not in form. Bhajji played just two matches in which Swann also didn't get much wickets. If we consider form at the moment Swann is better than Bhajji, but still Swann also couldn't take much wickets in those tests.

Bhajji took many wickets in his early career in tests and ODI. Lets c what these new comers do.

Ishant, Sreeshant, RP, Mithun, Vinay Kumar: such new comers are failing miserably to cement their position like Zaheer.

Dada, Saurav Ganguly, were shouting on players for their betterment so we could see many players having longer and consistant career than the players who came in team in last 4-5 yrs but can't survive longer have to stay outta 15.

Bhajji is a sincere cricketer for Team India. He has performed very well and will do it in future. For the time being he is influenced by something or someone.
