The selectors have picked a very inexperienced bowling attack. With the exception of Praveen Kumar, rest have almost no experience bowling at international level (IPL not counted).
Let's look at some of the fresh bowling talent on display here:
Varun Aaron: Fast but no control and trick up his sleeve. He debuted against Leicester shire with figures of (3-0-34-11.33). No wonder MSD was hesitant to try him again for the rest of the tour.
S. Aravind: I watched him today against KKR and he bowled poorly on his home track. His bowling average was poorer than Arun with (3-0-34-12.33)
Vinay Kumar: Another player from South India propped up thanks to Sri-nivasan and Sri-kanth but lacks the talent to be in the team. Very mediocre average from last game(6.2-1-42-6.63).
R Ashwin: Inexperienced but I do like his approach and he may be turn out to be a good find. Handy with bat too.
Rahul Sharma: I hope he was selected on his talent and not just on his height or name 'Rahul'.
Umesh Yadav: He was tried against Zimbabwe and did not impress with figures of(22-1-129-5.86) after three ODIs. What makes the selectors think he will do better against top performing England team?
Selectors are taking a big risk by bringing all inexperienced bowlers at the same time. They will be up against an experienced and talented England batting order. Well, Dhoni, be prepared as you may need to bowl again.
Thus Difference between a past kannadiga selector and Tamilian selector thus he selected 2 useless bowlers from karnataka so kannda Dumps think now who is best selector....

We always think only Gundpa Vishwanatha is besht selectors because he always give half dozen quota to Bengaluru players.
Srikantha is angry me. We need half dozen Bengaluru player in India team.
The bottom line is there is only 1 player in the current team who is from TN and he is Ashwin. Ofcourse he deserves a place in the playing 11. So all north indians please do not comment rubbish in this forum with out knowing the real fact. Dont be ignorant as usual. Atleast this time get your facts right.

Get your facts right Mr.Mohanty. Tell me who came from his region other than Abimanyu Mithun in the tests and Ashwin for One dayers. Infact Mithun played only in first 2 tests. So first grab some knowledge and then speak.
Guys u know how players like vinaykumar, aravind, rahul sharma, aoron etc are selected? Vinaykumar is from karnataka, aravind from TN, Aoron from kerala. Th connection is srikant is from TN, his wife is from karnataka, his son in law is from kerala

not sure of others but why Vinaykumar is getting so many chances instead of his unimpressive performance... something is seriously wrong in this case...

yes all players are from CSK ..Shrikant I dont like you for taking all players from TN.Karnataka players are being ignored like Uttapam , Mankey Panda etc
Today morning morning I get up and see this news it is very happy. Till yesterday I thinked Rahul Sharma and Aravind is from Chennai because all time that Srikantha select only chennai peoples.
How did the Srikantha select our Bengaluru players dear friend? Because our Gundapa Vishwanatha if was there means he not select any Chennai player.
All my dear Bengaluru friend, please tell me new idea to hate the Srikantha. Shall we now say he shift to Bengaluru?
Or shall we continues to keep scratch at the bottom because he is on Chennai?
The talent pool atleast as far as bowling is concerned (both spin and pace) is empty in India. Can't blame the selectors for coming up with any team. they just go by regional quota and previous chances given/utilised. Guys don't comment here thoughtlessly about Vinaykumar, Aravind, Rahul sharma et al. Thats all there in the kitty. Or you will get Agarkar back in the squad..
Instead of Srikanth If any Northie or kannada selectors there he will never select Tamil players and also Regionalism is important while selecting players in past remember 4 to 7 players from Kannada or more number of players from particular state played More in past matches for India But when srikanth came selecting 1 or 2 TN players all Northie bashes srikanth and currently his selection was most Non Biased selection procedure has been Followed Like player like Rahul sharma and Varun aaron has been selected due this....

I agree with you. He selected only 1 player for tests (Abinav Mithun) and only 1 player for one dayer's (Ashwin) during this england tour. So all northies and these kannadigas, could you please name any other from TN who are representing India now and during England series if you have guts.
These northies are so jealous and they are always a reason for the problems around. I pity their ignorance for not getting the facts right.
