Balaji had praised Gambhir's captaincy of KKR in a recent interview. Gambhir's capataincy skills was there for all to see yesterday.
1. As captain, Gambhir should have taken his batting responsibility more seriously than he did yesterday. (It is another thing that he let down India in the first test against England recently, in the absence of the senior pro Viru. Rookie Abhinav Mukund looked more responsible playing his first test in England, than the more experienced Gambhir. India's batting in the first test set the tone for the entire tour later). Yesterday, Kallis and Manoj Tiwari played for more responsibly.
2. It was funny to see Al Hasan with a strike rate of just over 100% being promoted to No.3, with a daunting asking rate facing the side. It should have been Gambhir, Tiwari or Yusuf at No.3.
3. Eventually, when Gambhir came to bat at No.4 (despite being a regular opener), he did not think it fit to stay there till the end to see his team through.
It appeared that KKR will lose by over 50 - 60 runs. They were saved the blushes by ten Doeschate, who might have even taken them to an impossible win if he had not got out at the time he did.
I am sure some diehard fan of Gambhir and KKR may sermonize that in a game there are no ifs and buts. But that does not mean that considered decisions should not be resorted to.

I think you should be more responsible to the "company" where you should be working and not tweeting junk like above in office hours. No one cares about your remarks !!!
He don't have the bowlers or he can't bat. This Gambhor is an opener in Indian team & whenever KKR has to score more runs this fellow demotes himself in batting order like Dhoni. How can his team win.
who faked injury on england tour for fear of failure and to rest to become fresh and fit for his ipl masters can keep li- cking feet of his ipl masters but he will lose all cl 20/20 matches and then his masters will kick him out from their team...
