you are right. Since manipulator, politicain & rgional dhoni become captain. He is practicing the same in ODI/T-20 & except sachin he has filled team with all useless northys. Thats the reason India was out in 1st round of two consecutive T-20 wcup in 2009/2010 loosing all matches. Even in ODI except lucky wcup win at home, India has lost almost 70% of matches against quality team like Aus/Eng/SA etc. In test india was doing ok before england series as dhoni couldn't play northy politics there & all seniors from south/mumbai still playing test. There also given an opportuniyu- he plays useless northy like raina/RP singh etc even after repeated failures. he has destroyed indian cricket with regional politics. What ever littel sucess in recent time -courtsey- sachin, dravid, laxman, sehwag, kumble, zaheer & kristen.

I think Parthiv is not bad a choice in the place of Mukund...Selection of Y Pathan surprising I dont think selector are eyeing on him.

Parthiv can't replace Dhoni because he is not a lower order batsman. If India needs second wicketkeeper then we can try R.Uthappa.
