I am deeply indebted to Mr. Shoaib Akhtar for this piece of education which comes as a shocking revelation to an old fool like me. I am unaware of the drastic transformation this gentleman's game has undergone ever since this new crop of Pakistani cricketers have made their appearance on the horizon. One assumes that one's learning process is, as yet, incomplete and that with every new book published (or, shall I say 'ghost-written ?) be every single Pakistani cricketer, many new facts will keep leaking out and old puritan fools like me may please be pardoned if they are shocked and pained beyond belief !For 'shock and awe ' that is what these Pakistanis seek to infuse in our hearts and at least their cricketers are succeeding in this at !
With several cameras monitoring the field from every possible angle it is not possible for anyone to tamper the ball without getting caught. Afridi tried it in Australia, and was caught red handed.
