MAK Pataudi And The VIPs At His Funeral
by Balan Iyer on Sep 23, 2011 02:38 PM  | Hide replies

Ther were many VIPs present at his funeral;but one VIP was very much conspicuously absent.Yeh
Tamil Nadu CM Jaylalitha had a crush on him du ring her heydays in the film industry and the day he married Sharmila Tagore, she went with out food for three days, according to her own admission in one of her interviews. Anyhow, Pataudi was a Towering Personality in the wor ld of cricket and his death has created a big vacuum.RIP.

Every one has a crush on some one time to time, that does not men you have to be mad about them all your life.
If she did not attend so what, those days are done and gone, she is not attached to him any more.

Mr Patudi was a far better man than Azhar........
by S Narain on Sep 23, 2011 02:30 PM

He played well as cricketer but strangely was

grudgingly never appreciative of Sourav Dadas

captaincy which was no doubt great.Dada played

a key role in uplifting Indian cricket and

mentored many match winners.Specially

considering that he was married to great

bengali actress Sharmila Tagore....well we all

have shortcomings..Pray for his soul to rest in peace..

So what? When celebrities go for hunting and come in the news, people like you will remember it forever as if such things happened for the first time in India. This shows how sick people like you are. At least, don't comment on someone's funeral news. Get a life man

Well i was not born when he was playing but the fact that he played fast bowling with one eye when most indian batsmen even now as shown in England series are to face bouncers. He deserves to be called Tiger. Sunil gavaskar and kapil dev the two big greats of Indian cricket has written in their bio graphy that Indian players were afraid to go and play fast bowlers and were too happy o remain in ressing room athen to go and play fast bowlers. Imagine today with so many protective elements, indian and for that matter most world batsmen even from fast pitches countries like england , austrlia are afriad to face true fast bowling then how he could face them and score even a double hundred with one eye. PLus filed as the best then. Guys He deserves to be Saluted and anything less is insulting yourself.

For killing dear was a wrong thing but then i think it is today that we have become so evolved not to hurt animals. He beloged to the era when this was pasion of royals to go hunting and it was not considered bad. By the way even today do you know how many chikens, dears, goats and other animals are killed and eaten everyday across the world and perhaps you also might be eating it.
