Tiger's Madras Test century
by vasudevan tmc on Aug 17, 2018 11:59 AM

Had the opportunity to watch Tiger Pataudi scoring the century. A very good innings. Later on watched him leading our team in Bengaluru against West Indies and also in the then Madras in the same series.. Handled the spin Bowlers well, though lost in Bengaluru went on to win in Chennai. A shrewd skipper led from the front as an electrifying fielder..

What about the hunting case?
by Gita Aggarwal on Sep 24, 2011 01:59 PM  | Hide replies

What is the status of the hunting case? Now that Pataudi is dead, the case against him also closes, but as a citizen of the country I would like to know what is the status of the case, what action was taken against Pataudi and the other accused, and what action remains to be taken against the other accused.

The same info is also required for Salman Khan. No matter how much of a star you are, or how rich or popular, the country's laws have to apply equally to everyone.

Ms. Aggarwal,

Pls note that in India, laws apply differently to different sections of citizens. It is like this, 'Tell me who you are, I'll tell you what the law is'.

Bharat Ratan to Shri MAK PATAUDI
by Akash Pandey on Sep 24, 2011 07:59 AM

The Government India should consider Bharat Ratna award for Late Shri MAK Pataudi sahab. He was a tru player. He was a god of Cricket.A way back Some people in the country launched a propogand to award Bharat Ratna to Sachin Tendulkar as compared him to God of Cricket. Mr. Sachin always earned money through cricket add etc. and never done any thing for the poor people. A BPL person (Sachin) now become a milionaire only through cricket reflect that country has given much more him. He (Sachin) is not an educated person but got everything. He (Sachin) not attended last ceremony of great cricketer reflect his selfishness and unplayer spirit..

Not True
by Godrocksbig on Sep 24, 2011 05:08 AM  | Hide replies

Only Statistics form a true and trustworthy judgement on a Cricketers Career. All this hollow and lofty praise does not have any genuineness or depth. He was an awful cricketer who coerced women to convert to his religion and hunted animals and later ran away from authorities.
