No, the main point raised by shoaib akhtar is absolutely correct. If you go through the record any one can find akhtar's claim is 100% correct. But no question about greatness of sachin. Akhtar, of course , never said about his greatness but it is definite sachin is not match winner.Rather, Laxman, dravid (some occassion), shewabag , yuvaraj, sourav, ajahar, and few other are really match winners. But surprisingly Sachin, Gavaskar (save and except west indies tour for the first time in his life and went on fluent scoring with huge average) both are great but never match winner, that we have to admit. Rather Viswanath, Durani, Sardeshai, Wadekar etc had much more match winning matches than these two guyes.

very true.. these younger generation of Yuvi, MSD are much better match winners.. also sachin was scared of Wasim Akram and McGrath.. he has got hit on the helmet quite a few times to Wasim..but that does not take away the tag that hes one of the best batsmen the world has witnessed so far..

Maniam:
:-). Getting hit on the helmet = being scared?? Wow!!! With such knowledge no wonder your self-appointed definition of "match winners". BTW your MSD just made "personal records" in England and India was demolished and whitewashed. Go check. ;-)

@bala..........he got a hit on helmet .its mean he scared........he faced maximun balls of wasim and McGrath ..they were best bowlers.....if a batsman hitting there thousands of their balls and and getting hit by one of their ball .....then whts big deal in that. Its not mean he is scared......scare batsman go out very soon,,and dont know how to play.
Who are these anti-national indian publishers to publish & launch books of ungrateful ...tard piglets from across the border. You can never straighten a porkiswine's tail.Discard them in 2012 ipl too.

ya,he need some money,,,,,,,,,for his drugs.....dnt mind he is addicted. He just wanna coin some money on the name of dravid and sachin.
Sachin has survived the best quality fast bowlers in last 20 years (Ambrose, Walsh, Akram, Waqar, Flintoff, Donald, McGrath to name few).
You haven't even managed to have a stable position in your home team. In your country this hate india mindset is rooted right from tender age. Not your fault. Some day your country will catch up with civilization.
Meybe then we can expect some matured comments from professionals in your country.

Rightly said Ravi..... Akram has already termed him a "problem" (latest news).
This is just a cheap gimmick. He is trying everything up his sleeve to sell his book.I cant imagine, like many other millions of pakis who had their schooling in madrasas ,penning a book. This man has been a cheat,so no wonder he must have copied someone else' biography.Hail dishonest pakis.three cheers for this pseudo nation & their brave cricketers.Amen
You can only imagine rediff to publish such stories. They are the ones who would publish stories about how "brave" was Afzal Guru when a death penalty was announced and he said he will not file mercy petition. Like a wet cat out of the pool, the same scoundrel applied for mercy. Rediff before publishing this story didnt look at how unceremoniously he was dropped from the last match during the world cup. Does he remember 2007 world cup. In his one over, Sachin - Viru scored 17 runs. He was left gasping for breath and falt on the ground. He had to eat banana like a monkey. He had to go out of the macth for few overs. You can imagine Shoiab and Javed Miandad's of the world to say such things about Sachin, and Rediff only to publish to such stories. I challenge Sheela bhatt, and her goons to ask Javed Miandad for an interview ideally personal interview in Pakistan and ask him whereabouts of Dawood Ibrahim, who is related to Javed. Sheela can you please oblige us and go to Pakistan ?

Dhurandhar & Ravi, this news is all over the news websites. All copy-pastes :) Rediff needs more comments to get a better "TRP". And it is not Rediff's article. It has been copied from PTI. So, the same news is published by all websites.
Well shoib shoulf remember the world cup match in which he was brutaly hammered by sachin.Actually Akhtar is mentally upset person and all the cricketing lover's know that. What sort of achievement Akhtar has in his short controversial cricketing career, nothing .
He,like most of his team mates, has been full of controversies.99% of the Paki cricketers are rightly dubbed as cheats. This just speaks the character of a nation. No wonder a filthy-mouthed person like Shoaib has said such a reckless thing. To be honest all pakis are jealous of IPL coz they have been rightly shown the door. This is just a purgation & an emotional outburst-very much on expected lines
You never know when the one selected will get banned by ICC for involvement in some scam. Who will like to keep on selecting different FOREIGN players every year & disturb the set up?
