My suggestion for ODI...
by ganesh venkatakrishnan on Sep 22, 2011 10:52 PM  | Hide replies

Allow a max. of 15 players. any 11 can bat, any 11 can bowl. Only 1 cap. & 1 vice capt. At any time during fielding either a capt. or vice capt. should be there.

No power plays, no fielding restrictions.

Batsmen can take break any time and can come back after a wicket falls, no runners allowed. Last man can bat without the Non-striker.

Umpire should be fined for each wrong dismisals. Red/yellow/green cards will be issued to players when they involve in any unspirited events, they should be punished accordingly.

So guys, don't U think this concept will have more fun & entertainment than the one which our nation's selfish player's? tell me ur comments pls....

People are commenting without knowing abt this format

In the new suggested format, a batsman can continue from his prev. inning if he remained unbeaten. So in effect, it is like a single inning of 50 overs except that the advantages like winning the toss, dew conditions etc are eliminated. It is a superb suggestion but most idiotic Indians do not understand it.

GOSPEL
by Jugal Ahuja on Sep 22, 2011 05:45 PM  | Hide replies

whatever the god of cricket says is the gospel & the crazy media laps it.this selfish man wants his idea to be implemented as the number of ODI'S played yearly is bound to rise in the coming years. he is ensuring that his ODI record of runs scored will not be broken, because in 2 innings of 25 overs one batsmen cannot score a 100 regularly.whatever the god of cricket says is always having a selfish motive.

:) Actually fools like Brian Lara made the "God" comment.... :)

And if YOU can score 50 runs in each international, continuously for 20 years, please go for it. I will definitely call you my "servant"... ;-)

idiot do you know the facts? or just saying nonsense.

a batsman can continue from his previous inning if he remained unbeaten. He has every chance to score a century or a double century just like current format.

No real player

All looking Toss, pitch conditions to play. A Player means he want to be ready all conditions and win the match..Tendulkar's method is like we want to feed by spoon only. May be we can change cricket to shortball game...then our players will fit..Atpresent our players are fit for NDTV, and Advts.

fool..
its not about the ability to play in any conditions...
its about giving identicle conditions to both teams...
cricket is perhaps the only game in the world where one side can get unfair advantage over other the other...
what Sachin is suggesting, may not be the best, but it is somewhat tryign to nullify the advantage one side gets over other..

why are most indians so immatured?

another way

let the 1 day matches be divided into 2 back to back T20 matches. The toss loser of the first match should be the auto winner of the second match (since tendlu is complaining about tosses winning matches) this way we can have a draw also in 1 day cricket.
