He was deffinitely very Charismatic as those days only rich and famous used to play cricket and captains used to be only from Nawabs and Rajas. There could have been lot of issues with players coming from different states, cultures and languages in those days, but uniting the team would not have been as difficult as it is today as in those days the players did not have big attitudes as we see it today among cricketers. At least, we should be happy that we are able to see players from ordinary families from rural areas captaining India for the so called gentleman's game which was once only for rich and famous.
How can a world cricket miss a hero like Pataudi when he has stopped contributing to cricket decades ago. If people have to make comments to decessed person, at least they should make sensible comment. If not then keep their mouth shut. All I can say is may his soul rest in peace

WHEN U R UNABLE TO CREATE RECORDS --U CLAIM TO BE PLAYING FOR THE TEAM....U GUYS ARE A BUNCH OF LOSERS AND CANNOT DIGEST SUCCESSFUL GUYS
Pataudi Sahab, Never saw you play LIVE but always heard about your silent ROARS in Cricket and above all THE GAME OF LIFE. The Gods are lucky. Rest In Peace back in the Pavilion, SIR!
Then he's an inspirational Captain. Is it pneumonia based death? What's with organ failure, heart attack and pneumonia these days. Too many of these ringing, these days. Hope nobody spits into the food there before serving. I thought it was only a trademark in the west, for public abuse. Thank God I didnt have to see it happen and wouldnt want to.

Bacchh gaya rey! Ignorance is bliss, until you have to visit a hospital. Enjoy! Faaltoo bakwaas yaar, kisi movie mein dekha hai. Godfather ke plate mein bearer thooktaa hai, aur khilaataa hai. Baad mein bandaa (GF) hospital jaata hai. Aur doctor boltaa hai, bahut serious condition hai, America le jaana padey gaa, khoobh paisa kharch hongey. Millhouse story boss.
He was a great player, and a great captain. I shall never forget the historic day in the Eden Garden in 1975 when Pataudi cleverly used Chandra Sekhar to snatch a victory from the jaws of Clive Lloyd's West Indies team. He was the first true captain of Indian cricket team. I always wondered how far greater would he have been if he had possessed eyesight in both his eyes - instead of one.
