First Time By An Indian
by Girish K on Sep 23, 2011 12:48 AM

If Sachin's proposal is accepted it will be the first time in history that Indians will have a say in the rules of the sports that they play.

It seems to be seen if this nation of clerks educated in foreign language medium will do anything original.

ban tests if.................?
by nagendra kumar on Sep 22, 2011 07:36 AM

ban boring timewasting tests AND play only 20-20 if icc wants to make cricket as world sport and compete with FOOTBALL.
-tests make people lazy .
-most test results will be able to guessed, they affected by rain than any other.
-old people watch tests for timepass.
--stupid ICC,eng, past players always talks true talent will comes in tests, they forget cricket is just a sport to "entertain" its not a scientific reasearch.

Nonsense! Sachin
by Narendra Desai on Sep 22, 2011 07:32 AM  | Hide replies

Sachin dont try to evaluate cricket with your age but your experience. You always need to dance to one's tune than vice versa.

Its time for you to say Goodbye to cricket, than changing traditions.

4 innings in odi?
by vinay on Sep 22, 2011 04:00 AM

4 innings in odi?
i suppose 2 innings for each side means not new innings. but 1st inning shud continue.

eg if ind scores 100/3 in 1st inning of 25 overs then eng plays their 1st innning n scores 90/4 in 25 overs, then in next ind inning, score shud continue from 100/3 n the same not out batsman shud start the game from where they left. n then ind scores another 160 runs in next 25 overs making eng to start from their score of 90/4.

Good decision

Good decision by ICC not to listen to Sachin's proposal. Sachin is an over hyped player.
The rules of the game should not be decided by some player.

by Vijay Kurhade on Sep 21, 2011 07:54 PM  | Hide replies

He has realized he cannot perform in full 50 overs, so Sachin wants this split format so he can play for rest of his Life
.
its better he retires n spends time mentoring young talent so we get better cricketers
