First try to win matches
by Raj India on Sep 20, 2011 12:52 PM

First try to win matches... Then talk about potential and all... Team India has never shown the performance of a No-1 team in test cricket... Team India's performance in the 3rd test in WI shows their attitude...

Team India has the potential
by venkatus on Sep 20, 2011 12:39 PM

Where is the potential at all? They are getting paid just as any Govt is being given his salary- on 1st they get salaries directly so also all players and they want now this amount to be in Billions ,hence their disastorous loss of all matches.Politics and games do not go hand in hand and hence it is high time if we can revicve ICL teams as done by Mr Chandra and Sh Kapil Dev-They anticipated that all this fake bubble will burst soon-it has happened but excuses stay-tired off playing with no rest????

Rotation
by shammi khandelwal on Sep 20, 2011 12:36 PM  | Hide replies

Senior players fear rotation

they think newcomer may perform better than them and they can lose their place in the side

thatswhy they hide their injuries and play with injuries too

ROTATION should be compulsory rather then optional

Yes. I don't know why Dhoni is more liberal towards seniors nowadays. In 2007 he took the strong actions againat Dravid and Ganguly. But now Dravid played all the matches in previous ODI series.

when any player take his place for granted in the team his performace bound to suffer

same thing happened with the bhajji

Performance on the feild should be the criteria for the selection

Bhajji doesn't deserve place in playing X1.

Sehwag and Zaheer should be punished for hiding injuries.

Sachin should be forced to play in domestic cricket to prove his form and fitness.

Yes Anu u got my point

no player should be included directly in the team after injury

he should play some domestic/club games and prove his fitness

After recovering from injury player may be physically fit but he may bot be match fit

Show me one Genuine PACE bowler in India; show me one all rounder of Kapil dev's caliber; There's no class spinner in league of Bedi, Prasanna.. To become World's best team you need to have at least 2 quality bowlers and batsman who can score in adverse conditions (not fat track bullies)

Perpetual loose tounged idiot
by Christy Uthup on Sep 20, 2011 12:28 PM

The batsman cant face balls that rise above waist high
The bowlers can bowl faster than 130 kmph
The fielders specialize in diving over the ball and giving twos where one is a risk

AND HE SAYS THEY HAVE POTENTIAL -- for what Gilidanda ?

Why do we still sponsor, promote & finance world cricket
by Ram Sharma on Sep 20, 2011 12:25 PM  | Hide replies

We'r fools to support cricket, which is a non competitive game, as major sports countires like China, USA, Japan, Russia, Germany, France etc don't play this game. Our cricketrs earn in crores, whereas we don't provide even basic amenities to players from other games. I remember our cyclists got their cycles much late in CWG competition.

Secondly we just lost in test, 20-20 and one dayers miserably without winning any match, still we foolishly worship our cricketers. We'r also paying huge amounts to even foreign cricketers from our pockets in IPL.

We should start developing the habit of stop seeing cricket matches on the field or on TV or hear commentary on radio.

Test Format...
by Anurag Rathore on Sep 20, 2011 12:22 PM

India need to be worried in test format. We need good bench strength.

In ODI I don't think India have any problem. Everything is going smoothly.
