Well said. Unfortunately my friend, me and you are more worried about Indian cricket than the administrators. They are there not for the sport or national pride but for PAISA only. They dont play, dont have to face press or answer to public. Sports Bill might make the BCCI accountable, so they will fight it tooth and nail. As long as we keep our TVs switched on to cricket, these thugs will make millions sitting on their fat asses while you and I weep for our team.

very well said about ball and bat. Please include his team - pawar srinivasan (useless) et al., But please do not be critical of Sachin. He is our pride. our cricket is being spolied by politicians and business people.

Did Munaf and zaheer bail out at right time (by not informing their earlier injuries) or were hit by bad luck. Because for some reason Munaf cannot bend even before he was hurt. People are unrealistic. Who says angrez ICC will not make india play 50 overs in last ODI if that benefited angrez team. they made desis play in rain during previous because Swann and Bopara were hitting.
Though we'r 5th in one dayers & 3rd in test cricket, we shall still go on promoting & financing world cricket. Cricket is a non competitive game, as many major countries don't play cricket, bcz of which it is not part of olympic. Our cricketers earn in crores, but even basic amenities r not available for players of other games.
It is time to stop watching cricket in stadiums, TV or hearing commentary on radio.
Indeed is the attitude of BCCI. Not many in the Board consider hectic scheduling and non stop cricket as an issue at all. Srikanth recently brushed it aside saying 'every country is playing so much cricket'. One must be blind or extremely naive to make such a statement. Astralia has had 4 months break from all forms of cricket after world cup. Three months for South Africa. When problem itself is not being identified ,where is the question of solving it. Either board has to reduce matches or have seperate teams with seperate captains for Tests and ODI.

Srikkanth is a joker. He was trying to hug Gary Kirsten during India vs Holland match in WC. Kirtsen moved sway and Srikkanth fell over 2 chairs. What an ass.
Its clear that even if Indian give 3 0r 4 MONTHS rest they got whitewashed anyway. We should accept the fact that we dont have good blowers to take wicket in english conditions. No excuse of IPL,INJURY AND RAIN. Kapil Dev should stop his Dirty Politics

kapil is not doing any bad politics...he is highlighting "rest" - ONE of the core issue only. The thing you mention of - quality fast bowlers is imp., but just look at the way Varun Aaron was treated - Wasim Akram was also pointing out to this lack of coordination, where this bowler was only asked to serve drinks to the other players. Also, see the poor coordination when no indian player had any knowledge of the ICC awards event ??

Even this was happened in the past also but it was in domestic cricket. There was a bowler called Ajay Verma who represented Kerala Ranji Team and played under Gundappa Vishwanath for State Bank Group Team. This bowler was not given a chance till the last match and he was carrying drinks. In the last match or so he approached the Captain Great Vishwanath whether he would considered for the Playing XI and the captain's answer was always no and this was als not the exception. The captain had advised him to catch next flight and play ranji match for Kerala. Hope, our so called Great Batsman read my message and recollect what he had done to a very young and upcoming bowler. Even Allan Border during one his tours to Trivandrum had faced Ajay Verma in the nets and was in full praise of him.
