Selection

It will be best for Ishant and Team India if he is not selected from now as he is not 100% fit and requires surgery on his ankle.

ishants attitute is good

But i guess if he is going for surgery then why not at the earliest before damaging any further (in layman terms). Ishant can reveal his injury seriousness to get a proper advice. He is not like Bhajji or others who prefer Money over country (no idea how much they want for a single life )

Plain stupidity

It is stupid on Ishanth's part to consider a surgery after the Aus Tour. I'm Sure he will play in the IPL, get injured but still would go to Australia with the Injury Hidden and walk off the tour mid way. Considering his long term career, he must opt out of IPL and Aus Tour and undertake the surgery immediately. We do not want a zaheer khan episode in Australia.
