no offence meant to dravid... i consider him to be one of the best to have played for india.. but there wer times when dravid scored a hundred and we all knew it was for a losing cause... he cud just reduce the margin of defeat but never was a match winner for most part of his ODI Career..

dear Abhilash, There is a nice article in Cricinfo today, just check, out of Dravids 343 ODIs, 160 were won by India and his average those winning matches is 50.69, and he was MOM in 14 occassion. His World cup average is second to Viv richards and better than Sachin. So your judgement that he was never a match winner does not hold good
Dravid was taken for the Eng One-dayers to negotiate swinging deliveries in the early phase of innings so that NextGen players can come and tonk the easy balls !

Yes, Dravid was a great Test Cricketer. But Let us Get Real, Folks, The Time-wasting Test Cricket, 3 Day Crciket,etc was invented by crooked British Colonizers, like inventing Mahatma gandhee, the british double agent and non-violence to make People of Colonies Lazy&Morrons&vegtables and POOR Forever. The ODI matches and T20 match provided thrilling Cricket Unlike the Monotonous and Time Wasting TEST CRICKET which has wsted Millions of man or woman hours of our country and MADE US POORER too and this wastage of millions of working hours has been happending for the past 50 years and MORE and that is why we indians are 50 years behind China which does NOT have this anti-national time-westing game of TEST CRICKET. What a shame that patriotic citizens and leaders have NOT BANNED such a time-wasting game as TEST CRICKET and NOT enacted the law which states that ONLY ODI or short versions oc criket macthes MUST be played ONLY During Week-ends or Holidays so that our country does NOT become another african poor nation sooner or later. May be Anna Hazare and Patriots and RSS&BJP&VHP cadres MUST maka National Agitation to BAN TEST CRicket Forever too.
