He was doubling up as a keeper and batting at any spot the team demanded. Of late, ODIs have become more or a slam bang format so Dravid does not seem to fit in. Sachin the master of records and Dravid the master of Sachin.

India a master of records too... :) Or do you think South Africa is better? Not having won any ODI WC, not having won any T20 WC, not having been Test #1 ever, called "chokers"... is the best position for a team to be "master of India".. ;-)

Shame one billion people are still continuing with playing boring& time wastingTests&,etc,WE must launch a national agitation to BAN TEST matches&3 Day&ODI Matches FOREVER. India& poor countries MUST ban Test Cricket& 3 day macthes forever&Play ONLY ODI matches T20 matches On Holidays or Week_ends ONLY so that millions of man or woman hours are NOT lost watching monotonous Test cricket& 3 day macthes,etc.It is possible that This game of cricket lasting many days was invented by British looters like inventing british double agent mahatma gandhee& dirty trick of non-violence, to fool people of colonies& to make them lazy&morrrons FOREVER too by addciting them with all types of dirty tricks. BCCI& rulers are still behaving as slaves of Westerners, shame they have appointed white skinned westerners as coach,etc paying millions of dollars though we have excellent indian coaches like jimmy amarnath, madan lal,etc who can do better jobs than foreigners.BCCI& government must NOT allow more than 2 foreign players in each team&Give greater opportunity to indians.Shame that BCCI& rulers are behaving as slaves of westerners even now or are they getting huge kick-backs in the deals involving forein players,etc,Millions of cricket fans mustNOT allow our country to be looted again by foreigners&foreign agents.Hope millions of indians are listening& give justice to indian public& to national honour&pride too.

This is the most stupid comment ever.No one goes to watch a test match by force. They go there because they love the game and are inspired by the players performances.you must be out of your mind to bring Gandhi and for that matter the colour of skin in to the picture. It would be fit enough to note that RAHUL DRAVID was and is one of the greatest cricketers that this country has produced and let the matter rest at that Ganesh

Just because there are some fools does NOT mean that ALL Billion indians have to be fools,right???may be all isi agents and britisj looters and westerners will like indians play Test cricket evey day so that all indians will be in cricket ground or in front of television and waste millions of man-hours more and we will beocme another african nation or usless clony??? how can you guys be so selfish and morronic???surely the british crooks&agents have done the brian-washing very well, shame brain-washed morrons7ennuchs,shame!

@ tin tin :u never played cricket i guess!!! u will understand importance of test cricket once u will hold a bot and face a ball which u have to defence!!! cricket is not all about hitting sixes u fool...u just like a cheer leader of IPL lollzzz who enjoys only sixes being outside the groud! u will understand real cricket once u will take off ur frok n come inside the ground!!!
