MS Dhoni gets 'Spirit of Cricket' award
by Senthil on Sep 14, 2011 03:12 PM  | Hide replies

But he lost in the LG people choice Award. This clearly indicates he is not Favourite among Indian Fans despite 2 World cup win as Captain.

Pity he lost to the one who lost World cup to him, Indian fans clearly not seeing bit and piece performance?

...what is lorgat talking about team india not showing for award
by D S on Sep 14, 2011 05:16 AM  | Hide replies

Lorgat can be given the title of king by ICC and Sharad Pawar can be given title of Prince. Yet, they are not the core ICC that makes it run, controls major finances and basically owns ICC.
The core decides on awards (final sanction), it decides which umpires are hired, which umpires stay on , it decides about cheat DRS, media manipulation against india by smaller countries (if India barks), tactics (like keeping divisions), etc.
This jokers are given title and paid to say what angrez want to hear or want them to do.

Dhoni is embodiment of cricket. He has achieved everything there is to achieve. He has brought India World Cup, T20 championship and number one status in test cricket. He is the greatest captain ever to play for any team, not just India.

Dhoni as a batsman
Test Avg over all 37.0, Test avg overseas 28.0, No overseas century or match winning inning in test carrer even after playing 61 test.
T-20 intnl avg- 25, Strike rate- 105, No fifty or match winning inning in entirer career even after playing 27 matches
ODI- Good avg manipulated due to no. of not out innings & manipulative batting position. Even in ODI most runs scored on flat indian wicket against team like Pak/SLK & no overseas century.
As a wicketkeeper- Dropped catches in almost every match.

Dhoni test average outside
In WI 2006, 24
In SA 2006, 26
In AUS 2007, 17.62
In SA 2011, 35.8 ( one inning of 90 when styen/morkel was kept out of attack for 2-3 hrs)
In WI 2011- 19.5
( score of 0,16,2, 5 & 74(only one good inning when WI was operating with bowlers like bishoo/chandrapaul & front line bowler rampaul/shammi etc was resting due to injury).
In Eng 2011- 30.0 (present series)

As a captain good record only on indian pitches. Overseas he has lost more test matches(06) than what he won(05)

Dhoni is best
That’s why doing rest.

you idiot koni. why dont learn abc of cricket before opening your mouth here?

when we talk about cricket first name comes sachin. but not as the best player but as a FTB player.

that's what all great players have said about him.

everybody says he is a FTB and that's how he got these records.

i have yet to see ONE great player or legend EVER saying that sachin is a tough guy and he gets going when the going gets tough. according to all great players and legends it is sachin who always is first to get out in such tough times and players like laxman, dravid, yuvi, gambhir, dhoni, bhajji, raina and other take india out of troubled waters and into safety...

if what you say is true then nobody saw any of india's wins in world cups...because he never lasted till india won...

yes players said that because they know that sachin is zero and on his own can do nothing. has never did anythihng for last 20 years. other players knew that it was upto them. it was in their hands whether sahcin would ever be a part of wc winning team. previous team members were not able to do it. but these new gneration players are too good and they did it for sachin because otherwise he would not ever have a wc to his name nor will he ever retire...

idiot invincible, can you read? and can you understand what you have read? it seems you have comprehension problems. maybe you can read maybe your eyes are working properly. but you dont understand the meaning of what you read. your brain and your sensory perceptions do not seem to work as it is very clear you cannot grasp the meaning of what you read.

He continues to give more than 100 per cent (he gives more than 100 per cent, unfortunately it does not include temperament in playing in crunch situation and under pressure therfore those 100% or more does NOT include playing under pressure, good nerves, win-hungriness etc. you cannot give what you dont have) and his schoolboy-like enthusiasm for the game is something I envy and admire. For the team he is the best available coaching manual- (yes his school boy like enthusiasm for the game is a quality that one should envy and admire. yes he can coach players on this subject, no problem in that ond should learn his enthusiasm and passion for the game and he can coach players very well in that. infortunately that is ONLY things that he can coach about. he is not good at much else. maybe things like playing well on flat tracks and in easy conditions easy target---but how to chase in difficult situations and stiff target is something that his students can teach him in return) Mahendra Singh Dhoni

So Dhoni is a hypocrite.....! Ha Ha Ha Ha.... Sunil Vaidya, finally u accepted that your friend Dhoni is a hypocrite.

Sunil, no point in calling me idiot. Of course i accept that my friend Dhoni is a hypocrite.
According to you, whoever praises Sachin is a hypocrite. Whoever praises Dhoni is a great man.
So by your standards, Sachin is a great man since he praised Dhoni.
And Dhoni speaks politically correct statements and does not have the guts to tell the truth. So, come out of the feeling that you know everything on earth. If u hate Sachin, very good.No one to stop you.

ha ha ha coward invincible, i explained to you dhoni's words. and now you have nowhere to hide. so now again you are running to some other topic...invincible accept the single fact that dhoni is THE greatest player in idnian cricket so far...no other player had so many quailities...some were good in some aspects some in other but nobody like dhoni ever played for india. he is really a complete package. he is just too good. what sahcin took so long to achieve that too coming from a big place dhoni achieved in so less time that too coming from a remote place. instead of admiring people like him you want to glorify and worship somebody who is getting so much undeserved credit. it is correct to give credit where it is due or well-earned but it is very wrong to give somebody un-earned and not deserved credit and that too stealing from other players who deserved it and donating to to sachin. you people have been doing this dastardly deed for 20 years.

what you have been doing for so long is very cruel, mean, evil and despicable and unjust. even your own GOD the one for whom you are doing all this does not agree with you. has never agreed with you and always has said exactly the opposite of what people like you say. you dont know that he is embarrassed and ashamed of fans like you and dreads what next people like you will do....so ironical this that the very person for whom you people do this does not care about you and agree with you...

Vaidya, even your god (Dhoni) will not agree to what all you have told. Calling me a coward and forcing me to accept your shitty opinion shows what a dogmatic coward you are. A word like Justice does not suit you. I know your strategy. You say nonsense, provoke someone, when they fire back with the same words as you do, you say you are fed up of arguing with a fool like that person. Cant help it. Some people like you are needed. I know you will copy paste the same thing what i put and change your name to mine. Afterall, thats all what you can do.

Dhoni said on Sachin "He continues to give more than 100 per cent and his schoolboy-like enthusiasm for the game is something I envy and admire. For the team he is the best available coaching manual".If you call everyone who praises Sachin as politically motivated, hypocrite, etc then Dhoni is also in the same group. You are also doing a grave injustice by crediting the team's performance to Dhoni's presence.
