dhoni test record-pathetic
by ASHISH KUMAR on Sep 14, 2011 03:47 PM  | Hide replies

Dhoni test average outside
In WI 2006, 24
In SA 2006, 26
In AUS 2007, 17.62
In SLK 2009 17.5
In SA 2011, 35.8
In WI 2011- 19.5 (last series)
( score of 0,16,2, 5 & 74(only one good inning when WI was operating with bowlers like bishoo/chandrapaul & front line bowler rampaul/shammi etc was resting due to injury).
In Eng 2011- 30 (present series)
Also dhoni after playing 27 T-20 intl has not scored a single fifty, no match winning inning, no MOM & pathetic strike rate of 105 (one of the lowest for any batsman in T-20 at his batting position)
In ODI overseas also he is a big failure as batsman who never perform when require due to limited batting ability & has hardly won any important ODI outside india with his batting.
He is a flop wicketkeeper also in last 3 series where dropped many catches.
Dhoni is best
That’s why doing rest.
hehehe
On top of it he plays regional politics to the max & keep useless like RP singh, raina, chawla, nehra, type player in team because they are his friends & from north.
Kick this useless non performing batsman dhoni first before any one. he is always a liability in test , T-20 intnl & ODI overseas based on his performance
A player with very limited abilities like Dhoni is not even capable of an individual performance which requires skills such as technique, patience and perseverance; so as to bail out the team from a tricky situation. As a captain, Dhoni's success was based on the good form

he is forgiven after the beating he gave to angrez in last one dayer when the rest fizzled out.

If not for cheating by ICC paid umpires, India would win officially.

...what is lorgat talking about team india not showing for award
by D S on Sep 14, 2011 05:22 AM

Lorgat can be given the title of king by ICC and Sharad Pawar can be given title of Prince. Yet, they are not the core ICC that makes it run, controls major finances and basically owns ICC.
The core decides on awards (final sanction), it decides which umpires are hired, which umpires stay on , it decides about cheat DRS, media manipulation against india by smaller countries (if India barks), tactics (like keeping divisions), etc.
This jokers are given title and paid to say what angrez want to hear or want them to do.

baji is missing...
by Maria Gracia on Sep 13, 2011 11:37 PM

baji is missing in the list.... he should be the no.1 player to be featuring on the list... his dedication for national duty, his costly spells, his toothless boundary balls, his venomless tactics, his selfish attitude, his lobbying mentality, his poor fielding, his unfit pshyic, his arrogant character.... what not does he bring to the ground??? player of all these 21 centuries put together...

he and sachin should be on any list irrespective of what it's about... they are the gems of the dark world...

Dhoni
by Sunil Vaidya on Sep 13, 2011 08:15 PM  | Hide replies

Dhoni had to be included in this team. It is a totally wrong on the part of ICC to miss him. They ignored the captain of ICC XI. It is good that Dhoni boycotted the ICC awards.

Test & T-20 will survie.
Only ODI will vanish- most boring.
Test require real skill/technique/patience etc while T-20 require hitting capability.
ODI doesn't require any skill & thats why even ordinary player like dhoni can score runs in ODI while he is a big failure in test/T-20

No tendy, No Steyn , No Kallis ?

Please don't say that you were being sarcastic, because you do have few quality players in your selection.

Success in a team sport can never be bcoz of an individual. I always wonder why give undue credit even to people we worship?

Sachin is a cricketer and no god.
No where I did mention he is a god !

Cricket is a team game and Sachin is well a part of the team who guides the team to victory

i especially liked the way he scored those 2 centuries in the wc against eng and sa. if we had not won those 2 matches we would never have reached the finals...
