"Kolkata Knight Riders coach Dav Whatmore was also supportive of the batsman's decision, saying the team's support staff will do its best to help and hasten Gambhir's recovery"
It should be "to help and fasten Gambhir's recovery" and not hasten..
Sometimes these spelling mistakes change the entire meaning of the context

Dhoni too have issues in his hand..he may go for treatment after the last match...and Raina may ask for rest.
Get well soon Gauti. We all well wishers pray to god and want to see you in the same mood of world cup final.Best of Luck! India need players like your character and class. There is only one wallright now in thwe form of Dravid. But we are missing you a lot.
why should we blame the players who were injured during playing for nation. BCCI wants that all heroes of game may miss nation games but not these leagues. the owners have spent thousand of crores to make their team and they put pressure on BCCI to compel players to play in these kind of leagues. this is high profile huge money game. each and every indian should protest by not watching a single game, even the team one supports playing in final. Just log on to net to know ur favourite player's score. Dont watch it live and dont go to stadium. IPL itself will be crushed
Players who got injured like Gambhir, Viru, Harbhajan, Zaheer (big time!), Yuvi should not be allowed to play this Champions trophy. They are not qualified to play because they were not able to deliver anything while on national duty.
Why can't the BCCI give him some pain killers & have him play. He'll miss out on some money that's not acceptable. Missing Tests and ODIs is another matter, but missing IPL and CLt20 is cardinal sin. Look at Bhajji he managed his schedule exceptionally by faking injury in Tests & Odi and now he is all ready for CLT20. Rest of the players can learn some management & acting skills from him. Shame on you Gambhir.

Harbhajan should be rested for CLT20. He cannot continue to tell about his fake injuries. He has to go back and learn his offspinners
